What a pleasure to be able to see these majestic birds, it is something that will never cease to amaze me, from the first moment I could see a Condor in flight it was something that impacted me so much that I will never forget, they transmit an ancestral wisdom just by seeing them, their flight Calm, they dominate the skies and the warm currents that they use to climb high up out of sight, a view that they possess in great quality, a privilege of the birds that in this case they use to detect corpses and remains of animals since at being scavengers is their main source of food. Not for nothing the ancient inhabitants of the Andes mountain range worshiped these creatures as gods, their great size and wingspan can leave anyone breathless, they can reach up to more than 3 meters in wingspan with their wings detached, how amazing really !
This is just one of the photographs that I was able to take a few weeks ago during the visit of some friends from Uruguay when we went to tour the mountains in the province of Cordoba, you can see some of this in my previous post and in the next ones I will surely post more of what these days were touring the interior of the province.

Que placer poder avistar estas majestuosas aves, es algo que nunca va a dejar de asombrarme, desde el primer momento en que pude ver un Cóndor en vuelo fue algo que me impacto tanto que nunca olvidare, transmiten una sabiduría ancestral con solo verlos, su vuelo calmado, dominan los cielos y las corrientes cálidas que utilizan para remontar en lo alto hasta perderse de vista, una vista que ellos poseen en gran calidad, un privilegio de las aves que en este caso utilizan para detectar cadáveres y restos de animales ya que al ser carroñeros es su principal fuente de alimento. No por nada los antiguos pobladores de la cordillera de los Andes adoraban a estas criaturas como dioses, su gran tamaño y envergadura pueden llegar a dejar sin aliento a cualquiera, pueden alcanzar hasta mas de 3 metros de envergadura con sus alas despegadas, que asombroso realmente!.
Esta es solo una de las fotografías que pude tomar unas semanas atrás durante la visita de unos amigos de Uruguay cuando fuimos a recorrer las sierras en la provincia de Córdoba, pueden ver algo de esto en mi post anterior y en los próximos seguramente iré desplegando mas de lo que fueron estos días recorriendo el interior de la provincia.
