Common gull fishing

in Feathered Friends3 years ago

Hello feathered friends.

Today I'll share a few photos of common gull fishing in the pond. Common gulls are skilled hunters. They circle around following schools of fish and crash as soon as they are given the opportunity to catch. They catch fish by pushing it towards the beak with their feet. For a few minutes, I watched this seagull circling around the pond. Luckily, I was in a place where I could take these reflective photos. They are mostly found in flocks but sometimes individual birds can separate.
