Not what you think took place on a hot day.
We had two territorial disputes at the bird bath today.
Is it true that the masses rule or that a strong minority rules everything? Come and read this story and see how it is also in our lives. The masses have no say, and are only pleased with false promises at voting times and then they continue to suffer. Laying complaints falls on deaf ears, and life just continues like abnormal.
The Cape Sparrow couple was bathing in peace, but then a bigger Laughing dove arrived.
Not laughing as he ordered the sparrows to scram.
So Milly the sparrow said, "Bugger you, I will go and complain to the authorities".
So soon an officer of the Dove Protection unit arrived to investigate Milly's complaint.
The officer said; "We have received a report of bullying from Milly and now I am telling you to scram"
The officer's colleague arrived and Milly returned happily to continue her bath.
But things don't work like that in real life, as a third officer arrived and Milly was forced to leave in a great hurry.
Now this is what I call total unfairness, as the majority are bigger and they force their power on the minorities.
And so you can see that the first two indulged in a luxurious bird bath.
The third one was a bit sceptic and stayed on the edge of the bath considering his thoughts about the unfairness of this all.
But, it is easier to join the masses and the third one also jumped into the bath, thinking what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
So, we had three enforcement officers indulging in nefarious activities by bathing and chasing the smaller people away. Frolicking in the water and splashing each other.
Finally, they started to leave one by one.
Just some humor here about all the complexities in life, and I know that a part of this might be true on several occasions, but this is just a bit of fun that I am having here today in order to get a smile out of everyone.
Life is not always what we want it to be, but it is also our own responses and actions that can make a difference.

Hahaha, yes I was also glad that the sparrows could sneak in a bath. But it is going to be tough for them, as Harry and Sally will only be back next winter to come and breed again.
Then the doves will be very careful.

It is winter here, but in summer, I put water in a pan and put in front of my window so that they come drink and bath like this :)
I don't want them to search for water in summer, especially on the ground because they become possible hunt for cats.
Yes that is a good thing to do and then you can also take photos through the windows like I do.
Many cats also here, but they stay away from our garden as our little dog doesn't like cats. We also have Harry, the Egyptian goose that attacks the cats.
