I was cycling along the river when I saw herons dancing in the distance. The bike fell on one side of the road, I fell on the other. I was deploying the telephoto lens so fast, even a seasoned US Marine sniper would be embarrassed.
The herons' dance didn't last long, but I managed to get at least a few shots from a distance (distance and speed took a toll on the quality, sorry).
Maybe they were having some sort of "intimate moment", in which case it was probably tactless to photograph them and still display them. :) But their dancing figures looked very interesting. Bouncing, synchronized waving, hugging in the air...
Příště nezapomeň něco podobného "nacpat" i do #amazingnature :-)
These are awesome! Even when images aren't nat geo quality, I still think it's cool to capture events in nature like this. I'm glad you didn't break your camera when you fell off the bike.
I wonder if this is a turf battle between two evenly matched (and equally stubborn) opponents? It looks aggressive!
It's hard to say, I'm not an ornithologist. But maybe the two males were measuring each other's dicks.
HAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Men.🙄
