🦉 The redwing (Turdus iliacus)

I don’t often manage to photograph this species of thrushes. They are very shy, despite the fact that they are “friends” with fieldfares, which are quite bold in the spring.
It is worth mentioning the “brotherhood” of thrushes. They support each other like a mountain, and if some enemy in the form of a bird of prey flies into their territory, then all species of thrushes unite and attack the enemy.
I see a lot of these guys at the beginning of spring in the old cemetery near the forest. Males in these territories sing actively. And their songs are some kind of chaotic, unintelligible sounds that they pronounce very quickly.

Awww! They look so adorable! I love their yellow long mouth. It makes them look unique...I wonder why they are shy in their beautiful bodies
