🦉 The Eurasian golden oriole (Oriolus oriolus)

  • Oriolus oryolus (lat.) oriole [Old French. oryol oriole, aureolus gold]

This bird is one of the most coveted among wildlife photographers. It's very difficult to photograph, let alone even see! It's one of the most wary, and what's more, it lives in the upper forest canopies, constantly hiding behind dense foliage.

It has the richest yellow plumage of all the yellow birds of Eurasia.
I took these photos completely by accident. I went down into a ravine to photograph the kingfishers living there, hid in the bushes, and while I was waiting for the desired birds, an oriole perched on a tree near me, which surprised me greatly.
