🦉 The western yellow wagtail (Motacilla flava)

These brightly colored and graceful wagtails inhabit meadows on the outskirts of the city, near the river. However, during the mating season, they often fly across the river and wander on the other side. There, in the scrubland, they search for nesting material, and at this time, there are many insects to feed on.
Unlike the familiar white wagtail, this species arrives a month later and also flies back for the winter a month later.
