🦉 The green sandpiper (Tringa ochropus)

📚 Tringa tryngas (Greek) thrush-sized water bird in Aristotle's texts
📚 ochropus Greek: ōkhros ocher, pous leg

A little strange name for this bird ... We call this bird "blacky". Own its plumage color, that is, dark.
These birds occasionally meet me in early August, when their children have already become teenagers, and parents teach them about life by moving from one place to another. And this small lake is just one of those places.

Usually there are about four birds. They walk in shallow water and mud looking for small fish, shellfish or aquatic insects. Thanks to their long legs, they are excellent at it.
