Here are a few sightings in perfect lighting for my zoom lens for #featheredfriday by @melinda010100

This tree swallow perched nicely and stayed put for a few photos. It is even belting out a bit of a song in this shot.

Eventually it looked at me wondering if I was a threat or not.

But then it just went into cleaning mode.

This cleaning mode allowed for some really nice iridescent shots of its feathers.

Here is my typical red-winged blackbird shot. He matches well with the red leaves on the branch he is perching on.

Here is a female copper headed cowbird. She seems to be searching for worms on the tree pollen.

She got a tiny bit skittish of me hanging around.

But eventually she deemed me not a threat and kept foraging for food.

That's all for now, hopefully I can get a few more good sunny day shots in before the winter hits. Thanks for looking :-)

Those are best models. Have a nice day!

Fortunately they were cooperative that day.

Lovely bird !

Thanks :-)

Hehe, that dude must be singing then got tired and started cleaning itself.😊

Yeah that's pretty much exactly what he did.

Really lovely shots! Don't you love when the light is right?

Yeah my camera can really get clear shots on a bright sunny day. Fortunately the bird wasn't against the sun this time.

These are very nice photos of birds! I wish I could see the birds among the trees!

I got most of these on smaller scrubby trees. There are quite a few more birds high up in the larger trees that I can't even get a zoom shot of.

It's amazing, the picture you show is amazing.
