Here are a few of the usual suspects for this #featheredfriday by @melinda010100
First we start out with one of the usual suspects. Now that the red-winged blackbirds have finished raising their babies they are less aggressive and don't bother dive bombing you anymore. This one was posing on a wild rosebush looking nice and bold against the greenery.
The next usual suspect is a juvenile Canadian goose still growing in its feathers. This is a fairly late bloomer.
The dad was there to hiss at me while I tried getting closer photos.
Now for a somewhat rare character a black-crowned night heron.
They are a bit unusual to get photos of because they usually fly away when they see you.
I could tell through the lens viewer that it was thinking about flying off. I stayed a while hoping to see it catch something but it just kept looking at me instead.
Back to the most usual sightings. A couple silhouetted sparrows hanging around some staircases.
I decided to give them some attention because of the bold lighting.
We have peak duck piles over here this year. Most of these are juveniles that grew up this year and have yet to take off to another lake.
I saw the granddaddy turtle a huge red eared slider one the biggest ones I've ever seen at the lake. They like to hang around the ducks for some reason.
The neighbor has the Halloween crows dressed up for the 4th of July coming up. I wonder what the next holiday will be for these "Halloween" decorations lol.

wow those are indeed some very pretty animals. i love to see those animals And the last animal i saw seemed really cute.
Haha Yeah my neighbor loves to dress those fake birds up for every holiday that comes around.
It's been a cardinal/woodpecker party in this yard, but once again I've taken no pics.
