Here are a few sparrows on a speed dating chain link fence.

The female is displaying her readiness to find a mate. This is the first fellow that arrived and started prancing around strutting his stuff.

Soon a challenger arrived to knock him off his pedestal a bit.

After a look at the lady the challenger decided not to try too hard to dethrone the enthusiastic dancer.

Now the field has widened a bit with another female arriving looking for a mate. As usual there are more guys than gals on this dating platform lol.

Thus the males have to start competing with each other for the attention of either of the females.

This guy decided to fly at the competition to try and scare them away, maybe in his bird brain he figures he can have two dates at once...

After the stress of being rejected and losing out on the speed dating fence they all fly off to the church roof to tell tall tales of their escapades.

I'm sure the church is thrilled about these hooligans pooping up their attic.

There must be zillions of sparrows that were formed as the result of the speed dating fence. Now they are hanging out all over the power lines warming up their feet with electricity.

Mmmm Bird porn 😜

None of them got lucky that day.

Perfect picture.
In our place there are also many birds like that, but we call them stone birds.

These guys are the most common bird around here and probably the whole country. We call them house sparrows because they usually end up nesting in people's attics or gutters or in sign lettering on businesses.

yes.
It's also like that here, they often eat rocks on the streets.
