Beautiful! That owl is called an "hibou Grand Duc" in French, and I hear one gently singing almost every evening in the park nearby. Which is funny because I live in a Grand Duchy whose head of state is a Grand Duc (a man, not an owl though)

I am extremely lucky, together with my hubby to spot many birds in our small park. Last year we could observe how the owls raused their two little ones. The babies were covered with fluff only when we first saw them.
Oh yes, the "ears", yeah I know they are feathers.🙂
