Feathered Friends - Smap Round #111 - Birdhouse by Sunscape

IMGP0350.jpg

This reclaimed barn wood birdhouse hangs in my Kousa Dogwood tree. The lovely Alliums are blooming beneath it making for a very pretty photo. This house is used mainly by House Wrens, yet, the sparrows will often chase them away.

This birdhouse has offered many years as a safe haven for them to lay their eggs. It is always fun watching the Wrens fill it up with sticks and grass. Hopefully, they will arrive soon to begin once again. Happy Spring everyone.

Thank you @melinda010100 @barbara-orenya and @nelinoeva for this fun #smap contest. Have a great week everyone!

Looks very well used seeing wearing around the entrance, lovely to know you keeping the little ones happy.

I do love my birds and have so many different houses around the yard. They are all claiming their spots already this spring. Have a great week Joan.

Always lovely to sit and watch them over a cup of tea in the morning 🙂

It must be so delightful to watch the wrens. Sparrows are cheeky, aren't they? 🙂
Beautiful photo with the blooming flowers beneath the bird house.

I do get excited when I hear the wrens singing in the yard. I have 4 wren houses and the male works on each one until the wife comes and decides on the best. lol

Oh, always women choose the houses. 😀

Barn wood is all the rage now. Very cool birdhouse with an antique look for sure.
