This male Goldfinch is enjoying the seeds from the Zinnias in the butterfly garden.
He is already eyeballing another one to raid the seeds from.
Next up, the Purple Coneflower looked tasty too. I had to grab some of the seeds before the birds ate them all for next year's planting. lol

It is so different than the Eurasian Goldfinch.
I love seeing the Goldfinches all summer in the gardens.
Very dainty goldfinch! Never seen one so close before! He’s very tiny so he won’t eat much!
One would think he wouldn't eat much, but those birds clean me out every year. lol
