Greetings to all friends and colleagues in the community ! This time I will talk a little about this type of bird and also show you some photographs that I had the opportunity to capture during a tour in the city where I live, and it has also been a learning experience for me, the fact of looking for information about this species and to be able to share what I could learn.
Although in the cities, you can see how many species of flora and fauna disappear, due to the conditions of their habitat, there is the case of many species that have been adapting for many years, in the ecosystem of the cities, as is the case of these photographs of this white heron or Ardea Alba, I took them in a park, where it is more adapted to its type of habitat, it is a natural park, where there is a lot of vegetation and of course there are lakes, where it lives as many fish as frogs, which are perfect for the adequate feeding of the white herons.
Saludos a todos los amigos y colegas de la comunidad ! Para esta ocasión les hablo un poco sobre este tipo de ave y también les muestro algunas fotografías, que tuve la oportunidad de capturar durante un recorrido en la ciudad donde vivo, además que también ha sido de aprendizaje para mí, el hecho de buscar información sobre esta especie y poder compartir eso que pude aprender.
Aunque en las ciudades, se puede ir viendo como muchas especies de flora y fauna desaparecen, por las condiciones de su hábitat, existe el caso de muchas especies que se vienen adaptando por muchos años, en el ecosistema de las ciudades, tal como es el caso estas fotografías de esta garza blanca o Ardea Alba, las tomé en un parque, donde se adapta más a su tipo de hábitat, es un parque natural, donde hay mucha vegetación y por supuesto hay lagos, donde hace vida tantos peces como ranas, que son perfectos para la alimentación adecuada para las garzas blancas.
The white heron is a very common type of bird on the planet, although it is very present on the American continent, especially in more tropical climates, so it is very common to find white herons all over the country of Venezuela, as it has a temperate and tropical climate. As such, this species belongs to the bird family Ardeidae, which in turn comes from the classification of the order Pelecaniformes, which means that these birds have aquatic habits, just like pelicans.
Even in a certain way, this type of bird species may have a resemblance to pelicans, although of course they are smaller, reaching a length of between 1 metre and much more than 1 metre. And their diet is based more than anything else on fish, frogs or even smaller birds.
La garza blanca, es un tipo de ave muy común por el planeta, aunque esta muy presente en el continente americano, sobre todo en climas más tropicales, por lo que es muy común encontrar garzas blancas por todo el país de Venezuela, por tener un clima templado y tropical. Como tal esta especie, pertenece a la familia de aves Ardeidae, que a su vez vienen de esa clasificación de la orden Pelecaniformes, que quiere decir que pertenecen a estas aves que tienen hábitos acuáticos, al igual como se puede decir de los pelicanos.
Incluso de cierta forma, este tipo de especie de aves, puede tener un parecido a los pelicanos, aunque por supuesto son más pequeños, llegando a tener una longitud entre 1 metro o mucho más del ese metro. Y su alimentación se basa más que todos en peces, ranas o incluso hasta aves que sean más pequeños.
The truth is that when I took photos of it, I was first struck by its silky white plumage and its elongated legs, although I would have liked to take photos of it when it opened its wings or even if it took flight.
But it wasn't like that, I spent almost an hour waiting for that circumstance, and I simply had to leave, I think this heron was just resting on these stones or was simply trying to hunt, anyway it was very nice to be able to take some pictures.
All the pictures are my own and were taken with a Canon T3i camera.
La verdad, que al momento de tomarle fotos, primero me llamo la atención su plumaje muy sedoso y blanco, así como su patas bien alargadas, aunque me hubiese gustado sacarle fotografías al momento que abriera sus alas o incluso si llegaba a tomar vuelo.
Pero no fue así, estuve como casi una hora esperando esa circunstancia, y simplemente me tuve que ir, creo que esta garza solo se encontraba reposando sobre estas piedras o simplemente estaba intentando cazar, de todas manera fue muy grato poder sacar algunas fotografías.
Todas las fotografías son de mi autoría y fueron tomadas con una cámara fotográfica Canon T3i.
