Why did the chicken cross the road? It crossed the road to get to the other side. Either it gets crushed or successfully crosses—well, that’s just a cliché.
This chicken did cross to get to the other side, but it kept running as if someone was pursuing it. This picture was captured on the way to church early in the morning. A guy saw me and asked, "Why capture the chicken?"
"I don’t want to," I said.
He replied, "With your phone?
Oh! my phone... It is for a contest?"
I answered.
He laughed and said, "I thought you wanted to auction the chicken without my consent!"
"No, sir," I replied.
"Ha ha ha!" We both laughed. Then he said, "Go ahead and capture the chicken." I smiled.
I couldn’t get a close-range shot, but the one I captured is beautiful—considering the environment and the special bird within. It’s different. Many people raise free-range chickens with little to no food provision. However, these chickens don’t grow as big as agricultural ones, where movement is limited and food is provided.
Beautiful! I think I’m ready for the contest. Tell me what you think in the comment section below!
Thanks for viewing 🙂.
Thank you for your entry. The prompt was to focus on the wings and it would be nice if you made the photos closer.
Alright ma! Thanks for the tipping me 😉.
Quick response! Is a butterfly allowed for the contest? I don't have a powerful camera to give me a zoomed, high-quality version of your request.
Hi, no, butterfly is not a bird and you cannot post photos of butterflies in our community of Feathered Friends.
Thanks.
