2025 is coming to an end, a year that has been one of the best regarding gaming and technology. We are at the gates of 2026 and we are already starting to think about what it holds in store for us, and if it will surpass everything this ending year left us. That is why it is a good time to start drawing up our wish list, outlining goals and efforts to achieve what we want.
Mis deseos Gaming y Tech para el 2026
Finaliza el 2025, un año que ha sido de los mejores en cuanto a gaming y tecnología. Estamos a las puertas del 2026 y ya comenzamos a pensar que nos depara, si superara todo lo que nos dejó este año que termina. Por eso es un buen momento para comenzar a dibujar nuestra lista de deseos trazando metas y esfuerzos para lograr lo que queremos.
That is why today's theme is spot on, because it serves to have a serious reflection on what we desire from the gaming, geek, and technological world in 2026. However, for me, in the gaming department, the expectations are very clear and specific; I am sure they match half the planet's, and they have a name and a date: GTA VI, November 19, 2026. I know the wait has been eternal, but I honestly couldn't care less about having to wait longer, because I prefer having a finished and well-made game rather than a bug-filled mess.
Por eso la temática de hoy es muy acertada porque sirve para tener una seria reflexión, sobre lo que deseamos del mundo gaming, geek y tecnológico este 2026, sin embargo, para mi en el apartado gaming las expectativas son muy claras y especificas, estoy seguro que se suman a la de medio planeta, tienen nombre y fecha: GTA VI 19 de noviembre de 2026. Se que la espera ha sido eterna, pero me vale burguer seguir esperando, porque prefiero tener un juego terminado y bien hecho que una cagada llena de bugs.
What is there to say that hasn't been said already? Many of us believe this game is going to redefine next-gen gaming. That is why I bought the PS5, so I wouldn't miss it since it’s an exclusive, but after so much delay, my console will surely be obsolete by then, and I will have to include the new PlayStation that can actually run this game in my 2026 wishes.
Que decir que ya no se ha dicho, muchos creemos que este juego va a redefinir el gaming de nueva generación, por eso me compre la PS5 para no perdermelo al ser un exclusivo, pero tras tanta demora, ya seguro mi consola quedará obsoleta y me tocara incluir en mis deseos para el 2026 la nueva PlayStation que si corra este juego.
Similarly, there are other projects that have me excited. I have my eyes set on Insomniac Games' work with the new Marvel’s Wolverine title. After playing Spider-Man and being amazed by what they achieved, I am very curious to see how they will handle that darker and more visceral tone that accompanies Wolverine, plus I have always been a super fan of this character since I was a kid.
De igual forma, hay otros proyectos que me tienen emocionado, tengo los ojos puestos en el trabajo de Insomniac Games con el nuevo título de Marvel’s Wolverine. Después de jugar Spider-Man y quedar asombrado con lo que lograron, tengo mucha curiosidad por ver cómo manejará ese tono más oscuro y visceral que acompaña a Wolverine, además que desde niño siempre he sido super fan de este personaje.
Last but not least, there is Ghost of Yōtei Legends. You already know my opinion on this game (I am not done spamming about it yet); the main story is incredible, but I am very curious if they will be able to transmit all that epicness to its Legends mode (multiplayer). At the very least, it should be on par with or surpass Tsushima's; there is nothing like coordinating samurai tactics with friends.
Por último, pero no menos importante, está Ghost of Yōtei Legends. Ya saben lo que opino sobre este juego (aun no termino con el spam) la historia principal es increíble, pero tengo mucha curiosidad de si serán capaces de transmitir todo lo épico que tiene a su modo Legends (multijugador), por lo menos que esté a la altura o supere al de Tsushima; nada como coordinar tácticas de samuráis con amigos.
Getting a bit more serious, in the Tech terrain and thinking about my professional growth, my biggest wish for a while now has been a robust workstation that allows me to have faster video rendering in Premiere and motion graphics in After Effects. I want an i7 or i9 processor (13th, 14th gen, or the new Ultra), specifically Intel, which usually has a slight advantage in video editing due to its QuickSync technology.
Poniendome un poco más serio, en el terreno Tech pensando en mi crecimiento profesional, mi mayor deseo desde hace tiempo es una estación de trabajo robusta que me permita tener una renderización más rápida de mis video en Premiere y motion graphics en After Effects. Quiero un procesador i7 o i9 generaciones 13ª, 14ª o la nueva Ultra, Intel que suele tener una ligera ventaja en edición de video por su tecnología QuickSync.
The most important thing in motion graphics rendering is RAM, that is why I want a Sweet Spot of 64 GB. With this, I would overcome the nightmare of the preview, which takes forever on my current PC, along with a double NVMe SSD setup to separate the system cache. The GPU isn't vital with AE—it is for certain effects—but I want one anyway, and it has to be NVIDIA with CUDA technology because it fits better with motion graphics. An RTX 4060 Ti (16GB version) or an RTX 4070 is more than enough.
Lo más importante en renderizacion de motion graphics es la RAM, por eso quiero un un Sweet Spot de 64 GB, con esto superaría la pesadilla de la previsualización que tarda un monton en mi PC actual, junto a un doble SSD NVMe para separar la caché del sistema. La GPU no es vital con AE, son para ciertos efectos, pero igual quiero una y tiene que ser NVIDIA tecnología CUDA porque se ajusta mejor a los motion graphics, una RTX 4060 Ti (versión 16GB) o una RTX 4070 es más que suficiente.
However, technologically speaking, 2026 will be a difficult year. RAM prices have gone up crazily, so if you didn't buy the device you wanted in 2025, in 2026 it will be almost impossible. So, I think my biggest wish for this coming year is better clients who pay well to have the funds I need, because these dreams I have are very expensive.
Sin embargo tecnológicamente hablando el 2026 será un año difícil, el precio de las RAM a subido una locura, así que si no compraste el dispositivo que querías este 2025, en 2026 será casi imposible, así que creo que mi mayor deseo para este próximo año es mejores clientes que paguen bien para tener los fondos que necesito, porque estos sueños que tengo son muy costosos.

Es verdad que las Ram han subido demasiado de precio, pero soñar no cuesta nada y abre siempre un mundo de posibilidades. Ojalá se nos presente el 2026 con muchas mejores condiciones y se puedan cumplir las cosas que queremos.
