Hello Hive! We received this pleasant surprise in Tree of Savior: NEO. Developers announced a collaboration with none other than Digimon! Of course, this brings nostalgia for the franchise and story, but Digimon content in ToS represents good upgrades for our accounts. Here, I share what this collaboration has been all about in its first weeks.

Digimon Assemble is the title of this first collaboration within Tree of Savior. The story for such immersion is about Digimon appearing in our world. We find and help Agumon fight some minions. From that point, we learned the evil Myotismon is plotting something within Norn, and we take the task to stop him. The whole collaboration page deploys several activities to happen within this collaboration month. We will have 12 story missions, each unlocking after days pass, and two main bosses. We have a daily login and a gacha lucky wheel.

Digimon Assemble es el título de esta primera colaboración dentro de Tree of Savior. La historia de esta inmersión trata sobre la aparición de Digimon en nuestro mundo. Encontramos a Agumon y le ayudamos a luchar contra sus secuaces. A partir de ahí, descubrimos que el malvado Myotismon trama algo en Norn y nos comprometemos a detenerlo. One of the main additions for our builds is two catpal-equivalent familiars: Agumon and Gabumon. Each one can digievole, just like catpals, up to six stars within the golden rarity. After that, we will get a chance to evolve them into the next red rarity. In the case of Agumon, it seems to be tight to events. Each time we play and achieve certain landmarks, we receive Agumon puzzle pieces to evolve him. We can already see red pieces in the event for Wargreymon, yet we have to progress some more until we can unlock those. These familiar Digimon are able not only to aid us in regular battles but to provide us with special buffs in the battle against Myotismon.

Una de las principales novedades para nuestras configuraciones son dos familiares equivalentes a los Catpals: Agumon y Gabumon. Cada uno puede digievolucionar, al igual que los Catpals, hasta seis estrellas dentro de la rareza dorada. Después, tendremos la oportunidad de evolucionarlos a la siguiente rareza roja. En el caso de Agumon, parece estar vinculado a eventos. Cada vez que jugamos y alcanzamos ciertos hitos, recibimos piezas de puzle de Agumon para evolucionarlo. The second and most important addition was Angemon. He is placed not as a regular catpal familiar but as a phantom or special summoning. He was made of red rarity as well and almost as powerful as the firelod, the current meta in phantoms. We even receive some comparisons of Angemon power in contrast with the Firelord. As with the other digimon, Angemon will be able to evolve into Magnangemon if we obtain enough copies of him. Sadly, this is a very high paywall; just obtaining one copy of Angemon can take around 500$.

The other main part of the collaboration is about feeding Agumon. Yep, we need to collect certain materials and feed him at a special location in Norn. This is a Whole-server goal, and we receive rewards after reaching certain milestones. Once Agumon was completely fed, we could digievolve him into Greymon. We are hoping this will also allow us to evolve him into Wargreymon and add another red rarity companion to our lines.

Myotismon battle is fun. This is quite a powerful foe with special dynamics. It does bring memories when he uses his attacks, just like in anime. The main point is to avoid his attacks, and if the whole party achieves this, we avoid Myotismon from forming a shield. Otherwise, he will add a shield every time we fail. This also brings a whole-server goal of lowering his HP down to zero, and there is a special ranking associated with this battle. MY friends and I are currently ranking within the top 100. We hope to stay there and increase our damage to this boss.
The collaboration has some more events in store that will come out in the following weeks. A second boss, and some events, hopefully related to obtaining Wargreymon for free, will be added soon. La batalla contra Myotismon es muy divertida. Es un enemigo bastante poderoso con una dinámica especial. Sus ataques traen muchos recuerdos, como en el anime. El objetivo principal es esquivar sus ataques, y si todo el grupo lo logra, evitamos que Myotismon forme un escudo. De lo contrario, añadirá un escudo cada vez que fallemos. Esto también genera un objetivo común para todo el servidor: reducir sus PV a cero, y hay una clasificación especial asociada a esta batalla. Mis amigos y yo estamos actualmente entre los 100 mejores. Esperamos mantenernos ahí y aumentar nuestro daño contra este jefe.
