Hello, little people.
Today I wanted to tell you about a game I came across that caught my attention because of its name and cover image. It’s called Stickman Kombat 2D, and the picture immediately made me wonder: Is this like Mortal Kombat, but with stick figures?

Hoy quería comentarles de un juego que vi y llamó mi atención por el nombre y su imagen. Porque su nombre es Stickman Kombat 2D y su imagen hizo que en mi mente me preguntara: ¿Es un juego de los personajes de Mortal Kombat que ya conozco pero en muñequitos de palitos?
Just from that name and image, I started imagining how fun and interesting it would be to see the Mortal Kombat characters in stickman style. That idea alone was enough to make me want to try the game and see if it matched what I had in mind.
When I started playing, it showed a stickman with some letters at the top of the screen. I pressed them and realized it was a tutorial explaining how the gameplay worked.
Con eso y la imagen, pude entonces imaginarme lo interesante y duvertido que sería que los personajes de Mortal Kombat tuvieran un estilo stickman, y para mí fue lo suficientemente alentador como para probar que tal era este juego y si coincidía con lo que tenía en mente.
Al iniciar el juego, me muestra un stickman con letras en la parte superior, así que las presioné y me di cuenta que se trataba de un tutorial para entender cómo es la jugabilidad.
I spent a little while there, not because it was long, but because I was trying to memorize the combo moves. Playing on a computer always feels trickier to me than on a console, haha.
Y ahí me quedé un pequeño ratito, porque, aunque no fue realmente extenso, estuve ahí tratando de no olvidar como podía hacer combos de golpes. Porque, para jugar en computadora siempre se me ha hecho un poco más complicado que es consola jsakdk
Once I finished the tutorial, I got to choose between three unlocked characters: the one I used during the tutorial, the one who appeared with me there, and another girl. I’ll admit, I felt a bit disappointed, it wasn’t quite what I imagined, but I still wanted to see what the game was like.
Una vez termino todo ese tutorial, pude elegir entre 3 personajes que estaban desbloqueados. El que ya estaba usando para el tutorial, el que aparecía conmigo en el tutorial y una chica más. Ahí me decepcioné un poco, por lo que había imaginado, pero, aun así quería seguir viendo como era el juego.
I picked the other girl since I hadn’t seen her full character design yet. After that, I had to choose a difficulty level, and I was surprised by how many there were, each with funny and weird names.
After looking through them, I went with one of the easy ones, just to get the hang of the game and avoid losing right after starting, haha.
Elegí a la otra chica porque no había visto el personaje en cuerpo completo. Una vez la elegí, también escogí el nivel de dificultad. Lo que sí me sorprendió un poco, porque tenía muchos niveles de dificultad con nombres dudosos y curiosos.
Después de ver cuántos niveles había, me fui por uno de los fáciles, como para probar mejor el juego y no perder al segundo que lo inicio jasjad
I ended up playing three fights in a row. The first was just to test things out, but the second and third were because I got into it, hahahja. So yeah, even though it’s a simple game, it hooked me a bit. I think I’ll try the harder modes next time maybe that’ll make it even more fun.
Jugué tres peleas seguidas, porque, la primera era para probar el juego, pero la segunda y la tercera fue porque me dejé llevar jsajaj. Así que, sí. A pesar de ser un juego sencillo, si me atrapó un poco, pero creo que debería probar las otras dificultades, por lo que posiblemente regrese probando una de ellas. Y así me entretenga un poco más.
