Yea, I know,.. I am rich! but no.. there is a difference between rich and wealthy. rich is amount of money sitting in the bank.. WEALTH is having income enough to pay for expenses for an indefinite periods forward. (or something like that)
Is what I earn on hive enough to support a family of 4 or 5 and put food on the table? well, it is.. but for how many days?
The good news is.. there's just me, myself, and I to worry about. at least as far as financial worry goes. My kids have way more dollars than I do, yet I would state that they are always needing more and more to sustain them, whereas I am fine living on my meager little income.
When I lived in quezon city, philippines with my x wife and 2 kids, we would spend about $200 a month at the supermarket. I figure I can easily live on 25% of that. Maybe even less. We will see..
But what about inflation.. that was 8 yrs ago.. well, I intend to have a go and challenge myself to live on a budget, and to track my exact spending, down to the penny, for some time. Prove to myself if I can, in fact, live on just $2 a day.. about what I make here on hive, not counting for the fluctuating price of HIVE. (which could easily be about .50 by the time I make it to PH)

no silly.. that was for 4 ppl.. when i lived with my x wife and kids. so now, i expect to live on $50 a month for food. but we'll see.. :)

way back 8 yrs ago 200 dollars in Supermarket in one month is too much..I used to budget 100 dollars in Supermarket for whole month..but now 200 dollars is no longer enough for a family but if for self only yes 200 dollars will do.
yes. maybe just buy big bag of rice and have chickens for eggs.. :)

😊 the secret is NO secret at all.. just engage! post and comment on others' posts. start with as much as is good for u, then slowly add more and more.. soon u will be making MORE, but by then, u'll find that being part of hive and the interaction is the big deal.. the rewards are just gravy.. :)
