The place is called Amalfi, and from the moment we arrived, we could tell we weren’t the only ones excited to check it out. It was pretty crowded, so we had to wait in line to get in, but between chatting, laughing, and the classic “what flavor are you getting?”, time flew by. Plus, seeing so many happy people ready to enjoy something sweet created such a fun, contagious atmosphere.
One thing I absolutely loved about Amalfi is its Italian inspiration—both in the decor and the little details around the space. The vibe takes you straight to one of those charming southern Italian towns, with a cozy style, soft colors, and perfect corners for cute pictures. It’s the kind of place that’s ideal for hanging out with friends, enjoying dessert, and snapping a few selfies.
When it was finally time to order, I really wanted a berry flavor, but sadly, it was sold out—so you can imagine my sad face! Still, I went with the classic natural flavor, which never disappoints. I chose the medium cup, which came with two toppings and a syrup of your choice. I picked brownie, Oreo, and dulce de leche syrup. Honestly? It was amazing!
But the best part was getting to share that moment with my friends and my sister. Between spoonfuls and silly jokes, the afternoon flew by. It was one of those simple yet memorable outings where it’s not so much about what you do, but who you’re with.
Amalfi definitely left me wanting to go back, try more flavors, and keep enjoying the little pleasures that make life a bit sweeter.A few days ago, @eliigonzalez told my sister and me about a new frozen yogurt shop that had just opened in the city. And as a true frozen yogurt lover (seriously, it's one of my favorite desserts), I couldn’t say no to an invitation like that. So we didn’t think twice and planned to go the very next day.

Hace unos días, @eliigonzalez nos contó —a mi hermana y a mí— sobre una nueva heladería de yogurt que inauguraron en la ciudad. Como buena fanática del helado de yogurt que soy, con decirles que es de mis postres favoritos, no podía negarme a una invitación como esa. Así que no lo pensamos mucho y planificamos para ir al día siguiente. El lugar se llama Amalfi, y desde que llegamos notamos que no éramos las únicas emocionadas por conocerlo. Había bastante gente, así que nos tocó hacer fila para entrar, pero entre charlas, risas y el clásico “¿qué sabor pedirás tú?”, el tiempo pasó volando. Además, ver tanta gente animada y con ganas de disfrutar ya creaba una atmósfera alegre que te contagiaba. Algo que me encantó de Amalfi es que está inspirado en Italia, tanto en la decoración como en los detalles del espacio. El ambiente te transporta a esos pueblitos encantadores italianos, con su estilo acogedor, sus colores suaves y rincones perfectos para tomarte fotos lindas. La vibra del lugar es ideal para pasar el rato con amigos, disfrutar del postre y tomarte un par de buenas selfies. Cuando llegó el momento de pedir, deseaba un helado con sabor a frutos rojos, pero ya se había agotado —¡ya se imaginarán mi carita de tristeza!—. Aun así, opté por el clásico sabor tradicional, que nunca decepciona. Yo escogí la tinita mediana, que incluía 2 toppings y 1 sirope de tu preferencia, mi elección fue topping de brownie, Oreo y sirope de dulce de leche. Una combinación que, sinceramente, me fascinó. ¡Estaba buenísimo! Lo mejor de todo fue poder compartir ese momento con mis amigos y mi hermana. Entre cucharadas y bromas, la tarde se nos pasó volando. Fue de esas salidas sencillas pero memorables, en las que no importa tanto el plan sino con quién lo compartes. Definitivamente, Amalfi me dejó con ganas de volver, probar otros sabores y seguir disfrutando de esos pequeños placeres que hacen la vida más dulce.
