====== ENGLISH VERSION ======
Family reunion and my cousin's birthday.
My family on my father's side is large; composed of two grandparents; 4 aunts and 1 uncle; despite that, the daily life and the hustle and bustle of each one; have made this side of the family a little scattered, we agree to congratulate each other on birthdays; but not in physical places.
However; for the birthday of one of my cousins; (the second oldest of all) part of the family agreed to spend a nice time, this because his mother (my aunt) lives in a central location.
The sharing as such was enjoyable; we caught up with each other's daily occupations and enjoyed a pleasant family time; enlivened by conversations of a deep nature such as the search for spirituality in the day to day; or, at what point in a couple's relationship; one should take a "break" and reconsider the bond.
I have noticed that as I grow up and my aunts get older and older; they are not afraid to show how human they are; and I am grateful for that; because, perhaps, when I was a child, I had the erroneous idea that each of them had a perfect life and as adults they always knew what to do and were never sad.
With time and ephemeral meetings, I have understood that they are human and that experience has helped them to make more accurate decisions about themselves and their lives, but even so, they have doubts and feel uncertain about what the future holds.
The conversations, which varied between laughter, witty comments, gossip and existential doubts, were enlivened by beer and sangria.
At the end of the night; we sang birthday to my cousin and shared the cake among all of us; then everyone went their own way.
There is always an occasion to share with the family and those brief moments are the ones that are worth it.

====== VERSION EN ESPAÑOL ======
Reencuentro familiar y cumpleaños de mi primo.
Mi familia por parte de papá es numerosa; compuesta por dos abuelos; 4 tías y 1 tío; a pesar de eso, la cotidianidad y los ajetreos de cada quien; han hecho que este lado de la familia este un poco disperso, coincidimos en felicitarnos en los cumpleaños; pero no en lugares físicos.
Sin embargo; para el cumpleaños de uno de mis primos; (el segundo mayor de todos) parte de la familia nos pusimos de acuerdo para pasar un rato agradable, esto debido a que su mamá. (mi tía) vive en un sitio céntrico.
El compartir como tal fue ameno; nos pusimos al día con las ocupaciones diarias de cada quien y disfrutamos un agradable tiempo en familia; amenizado por conversaciones de índole profunda como la búsqueda de la espiritualidad en el día a día; o, en que momento de las relaciones de pareja; se debe hacer un “break” y reconsiderar el vínculo.
He notado que a medida que crezco y mis tías se van haciendo cada vez más mayores; no temen mostrar lo humanas que son; y lo agradezco; pues, quizá, cuando era niña, tenía la idea errónea de que cada una de ellas tenia una vida perfecta y al ser adultas siempre sabían que hacer y nunca estaban tristes.
Con el tiempo y las reuniones efímeras; he entendido que son humanas y que la experiencia les ha ayudado a tomar decisiones más certeras con respecto a si mismas y respecto a su vida; pero que aun así, tienen dudas y sientes incertidumbre de que depara el futuro.
Las conversaciones, que variaban entre risas, comentarios ocurrentes, chismes y dudas existenciales fueron amenizadas por cerveza y sangría.
Al final de la noche; cantamos cumpleaños a mi primo y repartimos la torta entre todos; para luego cada quien tomar su camino.
Siempre hay una ocasión para compartir en familia y esos ratos breves son los que valen la pena.
