We've all had routine, calm, boring Sundays; not to mention routine; in which the day's plan is usually to eat, rest; watch movies on Netflix and recharge for the week.
Mine would have been like this; if it weren't for my close friend, who invited me to go with her family to Ojo del Agua Park; located in the State of La Guaira; to spend the afternoon in the company of her family and acquaintances.
A beautiful amusement park; and relatively new; in which there are attractions mostly focused on the fun of the younger ones at home, however; if there is one or another attraction focused on the recreation of adults.
The Park is approximately 40 minutes from Caracas; when we arrived; there weren't as many people as we thought there would be.
We arrived just at dusk; when there was enough sun; but the heat was harsh. The sea breeze helped a lot with the heat.
The first thing we did was sit on some benches nearby and enjoy the view, the sea breeze and the sound of the waves; which could be perceived despite the park music.
We bought an ice cream; to refresh ourselves and spend time while the Sun was hiding.
The most striking attraction of the park is the ferris wheel; which, measures approximately 66 meters in height. Out of curiosity, I measured the time it took to make a complete turn on the attraction and noticed that it takes approximately 10 minutes.
After taking a brief tour of the park and enjoying the view of the horizon; we got on the ferris wheel; and the view from the top is simply beautiful.
Fortunately; we boarded minutes from sunset and saw the whole length of the beach and the Boulevard that accompanies the park.
On the other side; we could see the Shopping Center and Casino that is near the Beach.
The complete journey on the Wheel is imperceptible; the cabin moves slowly and steadily throughout the journey; so that, there is no feeling of dizziness or swaying.
Each of the cabins has air conditioning; which is why, despite the sun we received from the sunset; we didn't feel hot.
After the turn on the Ferris Wheel; we decided to walk along the Boulevard; along it; we saw the commercial, informal premises; in which they offered fast food to passers-by; from hamburgers, sweets, even; a small Karting track.
Another striking thing we saw was a commercial airplane; which, is currently used as a restaurant.
Back; as we were hungry we opted to eat three pizzas to finish the day.
In the end; we left the park and said to take a picture to remember the moment.
I confess that a long time ago; I detested improvised outings; I hated the very concept of the word "flow" but with experience and time; you appreciate more the moments in which; nothing is planned and everything happens as it should.

Todos hemos tenido domingos rutinarios, tranquilos, aburridos; por no decir rutinarios; en los cuales; el plan del día suele ser comer, descansar; ver películas en Netflix y recuperar energías para la semana.
El mío; habría sido así; de no ser por mi amiga cercana, quien me invitó a ir junto a su familia al Parque Ojo del Agua; ubicado en el Estado La Guaira; a pasar la tarde en compañía de su familia y conocidos.
Un parque de Diversiones precioso; y relativamente nuevo; en el cual; hay atracciones más que todo enfocado a la diversión de los más pequeños de la casa, sin embargo; si hay una que otra atracción enfocada al esparcimiento de los adultos.
El Parque queda aproximadamente a 40minutos de Caracas; al llegar; no había tanta gente como pensamos que habría.
Llegamos justamente en el ocaso; momento en el cual; había bastante sol; pero el calor era inclemente. La brisa marina, ayudó bastante con respecto al calor.
Lo primero que hicimos fue sentarnos en unos banquitos cercanos y disfrutar de la vista, la brisa marina y el sonido de las olas; que podía percibirse a pesar de la música del parque.
Compramos un helado; para refrescarnos y pasar el rato mientras se ocultaba el Sol.
El atractivo más llamativo del parque es la rueda de la fortuna; la cual, mide aproximadamente 66metros de altura. Por curiosidad, medí el tiempo que se tomaba la vuelta completa en la atracción y note que la misma tarda aproximadamente 10minutos.
Después de darle un breve recorrido al parque y disfrutar de la vista del horizonte; nos montamos en la rueda de la fortuna; y la vista desde la parte más alta; es simplemente preciosa.
Afortunadamente; abordamos a minutos del atardecer y vimos toda la extensión de la playa y del Boulevard que acompaña el parque.
Del lado contrario; podíamos observar el Centro Comercial y Casino que está cerca de la Playa.
El trayecto completo en la Rueda es imperceptible; la cabina se mueve con lentitud y constancia a lo largo de todo el trayecto; así no que, no se siente ni mareo; ni vaivén.
Cada una de las cabinas; posee aire acondicionado; motivo por el cual, a pesar del sol que recibíamos del ocaso; no sentíamos calor.
Luego de la vuelta en La Rueda de La Fortuna; decidimos caminar por el Boulevard; a lo largo del mismo; vimos los locales comerciales, informales; en los cuales ofrecían comida rápida a los transeúntes; desde hamburguesas, dulces, incluso; una pequeña pista de Karting.
Otra cosa vistosa que vimos fue un avión comercial; el cual, actualmente es usado como restaurante.
De regreso; como teníamos hambre optamos por comer tres pizzas para terminar la jornada.
Al final; salimos del parque y decimos tomarnos una foto para rememorar el momento.
Confieso que hace mucho tiempo; detestaba las salidas improvisadas; odiaba el concepto mismo de la palabra “fluir” pero con la experiencia y el pasar del tiempo; aprecias más los momentos en los cuales; nada sale planificado y todo sale como tiene que salir.
