ENGLISH VERSION
I love the beach; I have always thought that if I had a lot of money; I would have at least one house in every beach in the east of the country; but it is not like that.
I confess that this changed after adolescence; because when I was a child; I hated the sea.
But now that I am an adult, I feel a special connection with that mass of salty water; perhaps because it reminds me how small I am in comparison with its immensity.
In July; my aunt's family decided to go on an adventure and I went along for the ride.
The final destination was a weekend in Chuspa; a beach located in the Litoral; quite far away.
Our trip started at 6am; we decided to make a stop in Vargas for breakfast, at which time we took this picture.
The trip from Caracas to Chuspa was approximately 3 hours, making strategic stops to go to the bathroom.
Throughout the trip; I was able to enjoy some beautiful landscapes; of which I will leave you a few photos.
Arriving at our destination, we stayed in a small hostel; which is adjacent to a river in the area; we took advantage of the arrival to take a dip in the river.
We spent the night a little bit rushed (it was very hot; in spite of having air conditioning) and the next morning, we took a boat to go to our final destination.
We spent the whole day on the beach; enjoying the ocean waves; the company of us as a family and the occasional witty banter.
The beach was cool, delicious and there were few tourists; despite being on vacation.
I hadn't been to the beach in over 5 years and to do it in the company of family and loved ones simply made the trip more spectacular than it already was.
If you have the opportunity to visit the beaches in the interior of the country; take advantage of it, Venezuela has enough in landscapes, food and hospitality.

VERSION EN ESPAÑOL
Primera vez en Chuspa.
Me encanta la playa; siempre he pensado que si tuviese muchísimo dinero; tendría al menos una casa en cada playa del oriente del país; pero no es así.
Confieso que esto cambio después de la adolescencia; pues cuando era niña; odiaba el mar.
Pero ahora que soy adulta, siento una conexión especial con esa masa de agua salada; quizá porque me recuerda lo pequeña que soy en comparación con su inmensidad.
En esta ocasión; la familia de mi tía decidió lanzarse una aventura y yo, me fui de acompañante.
El destino final fue un fin de semana en Chuspa; una playa ubicada en el Litoral; bastante alejada.
Nuestro viaje empezó a las 6am; decidimos hacer una parada en Vargas; para desayunar, momento en el cual, nos tomamos esta foto.
El viaje desde Caracas, hasta Chuspa fue de aproximadamente 3horas; haciendo paradas estratégicas para ir al baño.
A lo largo del viaje; pude disfrutar de unos paisajes preciosos; de los cuales les dejare unas cuantas fotos.
Al llegar a nuestro destino, nos hospedamos en un hostal pequeño; que esta contiguo a un rio de la zona; aprovechamos la llegada para darnos un chapuzon en el rio.
Pasamos la noche un poco atropellada. (Hacia mucho calor; a pesar de tener aire acondiconado) y a la mañana siguiente, tomamos una lancha para ir a nuestro destino final.
Pasamos todo el dia en la playa; disfrutando de las olas del mar; de la compañía de nosotros como familia y de bromas ocurrentes cada tanto.
La playa estaba fresca, delicioso y habían pocos turistas; a pesar de estar en vacaciones.
Tenia mas de 5 años sin ir a la playa y hacerlo en compañía de la familia y seres queridos; simplemente hizo el viaje mas espectacular de lo que ya era.
Si tienen la oportunidad de conocer las playas del interior del país; aprovéchenla, Venezuela es basta en paisajes, comida y hospitalidad.
