Greeting to my dear family and friends!
I hope you’re all doing well today. I just want to share something from my heart – a little throwback story about my parents, and why I miss them so much these days. Ever since before, I’ve always loved sharing stories about my family, because on my side, we really grew up solid. We’re not perfect, but we always choose to love and respect each other.
Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about my childhood and the beautiful memories we had. Sometimes we visit my parents in the mountains, and every time we arrive, the whole place becomes so alive. The kids are running around, laughing but that’s the kind of noise my parents love the most. That’s’ their happiness.

One moment I can’t forget is when they played with my child using simple carton box and they pushed her around like it was the best toys in the world. I stood there watching the, and hearing their laughter – my parent’s laughter and may daughter’s laughter so priceless for me. I felt something warm in my heart, something that reminded me how blessed I am to have parents like them.

And now that I am a parent myself, I understand something important: The values I saw in my parents – respect, patience, unity are the same values I apply to my own family today.

We didn’t grow up with material things or expensive clothes, but what they gave us was far more valuable. They taught us to choose peace over arguments to communicate with respect and to stay united as siblings no matter what.
There’s also something so comforting about sleeping in my parent’s room again, even though I already have my own home and family. That feeling of safety and warmth never leaves. And I know that for my parents, having us stay with them, even just for a night is one of their happiest joys.

Their generosity has never changed. Even now that I have my own family, work and home, they never let us go back without vegetables, food, chicken or even a little cash. Sometimes we refuse because I feel that we should be the ones giving to the, But they always say, “Its for the grandchild.” That’s how loving they are. They treat all of us siblings equally and they give without expecting anything in return.

Now, in our small ways, we also give back – whether groceries, bills, medicine or anything that can make their life easier. Its our way of showing love and gratitude for everything they’ve done.
Sharing this story is my way of honoring my parents and the beautiful love they have shown us. I miss them deeply and I cherish every moment I get to spend with them. May never forget to appreciate our parents while we still can, because their love is one of the greatest blessings we will ever receive. 😍

Grandparents have that special love for their grandchildren. Good thing you spend night to sleep over in your parent's home. The kid's enjoyed it playing with their lola and lolo.
My family is from the mountain just like you. We always visit our parents when we have time and when we are home it becomes alive but when we left them they say that it feels lonely and empty. But since we are 9 siblings we make sure to visit them alternately so that they will not missed us so much and they will feel happy and alive. By the way your parents are so happy when they see you and they even played with your kids and i can see in their face how happy they are while playing with their grandchildren. Thank you for sharing your family time cause this really inspire me and makes me remember my parents who are also living in the mountain. Stay safe and God bless your family my friend.
