Bienvenidos a mi blog/Welcome to my blog

The family is the most important treasure a human being can have because within the family we have everything we need to develop as responsible and conscious beings before society.

Talking about family brings to my mind important memories of my childhood because it has been one of the best times of my life, where I clearly remember my whole family, being united and guided by experienced people to whom by age and wisdom it is customary to keep respect. They are those people we call grandparents, but they are really Angels sent from heaven to make the lives of the little ones full of love through their actions.

When I was born my siblings and cousins on my mother's and father's side were already in their teens, so my arrival was somewhat unexpected, which led everyone to spoil me for being the youngest in the family and if anyone spoiled me that was my paternal grandmother. Doña Pancha, as my grandmother was affectionately called because she had the name of Francisca, has been the sweetest and kindest woman I have ever met in my life, there are no two like her, her words were kept deep in my heart along with her tender gaze, which every time she saw me seemed in love and my grandmother was a sugar cube when she was near her grandchildren, It was as if she forgot the world and created a special one for us where she played and told us beautiful stories full of magic with which we were ecstatic, my brothers and cousins were already grown up, but they would still seem like children when they were with her and she treated them like babies.

My grandmother Pancha had a long and straight hair which she let me do her hair, we could spend hours in our own beauty salon and she never got tired, her patience was inexhaustible, I don't remember seeing a bad gesture from my grandmother, she was all love and always found the most beautiful words to talk to me. One of the things I remember most about my grandmother, was that in every meeting the welcome was with candy and that for me was happiness, she was a humble person, but detailed, she always had something to give, apart from the unconditional love that she continuously showed, once she gave me some handkerchiefs embroidered by her, something very tender on her part.

She made sure that her presence in my life was unforgettable because she gave me so much love that even at my age I cannot forget her. She was a being like few others and I believe that she also did that with her children because I remember that my father and her brothers treated her with respect and much love, they went out of their way to take care of her like a queen and that is how it was until the last of her days.

It is not easy to forget the one who gave so much love and that is why I feel I have been very fortunate, because although I did not know my four grandparents, but the ones I knew were splendid with me. As was also the case with my grandfather Guillermo, who was my mother's father; a very humble man of Spanish origin who dedicated his whole life to carpentry.

The grandparents who touched me were angels, I can't complain; my grandfather Guille was a God's bread, he didn't bother for anything and always kept a nice smile on his face, a storyteller like no other, I don't know where he got so many stories to tell, his imagination was a spring from where any number of stories flowed and made me travel to the place he described, it was fantastic.

The memory I have of my grandfather is to see him bent down, as if he never got tired of being in that position; that way he did his work and when it was time to be with me to play or talk, but he was always bent down, it was something incredible because I was a little girl at the time and I would bend down with him, but only for a while because my legs got tired and I ended up sitting on the floor while he sat as if nothing had happened. My grandfather Guille was a very well known man in spite of being a foreigner, he had many friends, he was called "Master Guillermo" because he was good at his work with wood and my grandfather's hands were magic because when I fell and scraped myself he would rub me and it stopped hurting, I don't know if it was just me, but that's what happened and that's what happened, but that was what happened and I remember that they used to look for him a lot to massage my ankles, people said that he had blessed hands, I liked it when he healed any wound because he did it with a calm and special care that I think that was what really healed me.

My experience with my grandparents was wonderful, in spite of the short time we shared, I can say that the ones who touched me were the best and if I had the opportunity to have them at this age, I would be filling them with love, just as they did with me because I think it is the least that can be done for people who have given us so much in a selfless way. My two grandparents were favorites for me, because each one of them had something that made them special, that made me love them so much and if I had to choose, I would choose them both, because the love they gave me was unique and incomparable, so they were and will be untouchable even in my memories.

There is nothing that compares to the love of grandparents, that is why I believe that the least that can be done for them is to take care of them and fill them with love to make their last days unforgettable, surrounded by the people they love the most. That is why I see no reason to leave grandparents in a nursing home, they deserve an old age full of love and attention, the same or maybe more than what they gave us, today my grandparents are on another plane, but for me they remain alive in my memories.

It is a beautiful gesture to be able to perform charitable works to help the grandparents who in their time gave everything for their families and regardless of the circumstances we are all human beings deserving of respect and love.

Saludos!
