Every once in a while, we make sure to eat out and enjoy to relieve stress and to reward ourselves for our little good works.
Tonight, we decided to have dinner at Cordova Roro Port Road Barbeque Plaza which is located in Cordova, Cebu City, Philippines.
We are here at our favorite barbeque stall that sells a lot of varieties from pork, chicken, sea foods and so much more.
Here is my son, Jacob, choosing what foods he want to eat. He is a nine years old already and he has his own preferences too. I let him choose whatever he likes to eat.
Whenever me and my partner has some extra money, we do our best to have eat outs so that we get to enjoy and unwind outside of our homes.
Spending time with family is a priceless moment and we must always be sure to spend time with them as much as we could.
Here is what it looks like at the Cordova Port Road - Barbeque Plaza, specifically here at Haydee’s Barbeque.
I guess the Christmas tree decoration is just from last year, so don’t mind that, it is May already and December is fast approaching so assuming it is an advance Christmas decoration for this year.
The barbeque plaza is located at Cordova Roro Port Road which means this is just near the Roro Port - which has ships sailing from Cordova to the island of Bohol and back in forth.
Expected that the barbeque plaza is just located in the seaside, it is really windy here, you will really feel the sea breeze and you will hear the sound of the waves.
There are a lot of tables and chairs for everyone, most diners here come in families and groups and mostly in a large group, so they are already prepared for that. There are a lot of seats ready for everyone.
One downside of the place as a whole is that there are so many beggars roaming around, they ask for money from the diners, and sometimes just food. There is no problem with giving out as long as they will not cause any disturbance during the time you are eating.
There are a lot of barbeque food stalls here and some other food stalls like the ones selling burgers, milk teas and other snacks. But one of the most dined in place is Haydee’s Barbeque that is why we always go here often also.
You have a lot of choices whichever barbeque stall you want to dine in, if there are some differences maybe it is just minimal because most of them sell the same foods.
While waiting for our foods to get cooked, we hanged out near the seaside and we enjoyed the sea breeze since it is already raining here in the Philippines, it rained during noon time so the weather is still a little bit cool.
After twenty minute of waiting, our foods finally came and we were getting a little bit hungry so we immediately dug in, we also brought our own rice.
My son enjoy the foods he chose and he paired it with rice. As a mother, there is no other joy than seeing your son happy.
We got our favorite barbeque and it was such a simple yet sumptuous dinner for all of us.
For only ₱190, you can choose from the different seafood options they have and they will cook you a fresh and hot seafood soup. We always include it in our order whenever we dine in here. It is good to sip some hot some while enjoying the cold weather.
The soup we ordered included one slice of fish, two pieces of shrimps and two shells. There are other seafood combinations you can try and it all depends on what you like.
They post raw sea foods and all you have to do is choose your bet and they will cook it for you. They will serve the seafood soup fresh and hot.
Haydee’s Barbeque Stall also has a sister company just beside it that sells fruit shakes. We got medium sized mango fruit shakes as our refreshments. I love the taste of mango!
Overall it was a great dining experience, we often to here so I already am not new to the place and the experience.
I just want to highlight that every once in a while, eat out with your family, enjoy each other’s company and unwind because you deserve it.
