Hello my dear Hivers of the family and friends community. The lead photo is edited using Canva. I'm back after more than a month of inactivity here in hiveblockchain after I got reinstated from my maternity leave. I've been caught up from being a full time teacher at daytime and a full time mother at night time. It took me a while to balance work life and personal life and writing blogs as well.
So last Saturday, we had a total blockout from 6 am to 6 pm in the evening. I could not let the blockout keep me from being productive. I've been meaning to clean up our room because it had been very messy. That's what I did.
I put off all our clothes from the closet and folded it again. My husband and daughter helped me too. We also took it as an opportunity to declutter since our closet has become too crowded and we thought we couldn't even wear it all.
We found some clothes that has not been worn by our 3 month old baby, so my husband and my younger sister decided to put it on him. Our baby was not as excited as we are. He felt uncomftable specially that the weather is humid and there's no electric fan to cool him off. He was changed twice which irratated him more. He really cried!
After folding and arranging back our clothes, we decided we should also tidy the things in the drawer and change the linens. While cleaning, I saw an envelpoe and found a money inside it. It has a hundred pesos in it. It was a reward for me during our INSET or Inservice trainign where I topped a certain test.
My daughter also got to look at her photos while she's still a baby when she saw our photo album.
Although we don't have electicity thst day, I was really happy and enjoyed the time with my family. No cellphones, no tv just pure conversation and laughter shared with my loved ones. It was an opportunity to reconnect and bond.
That's how our Saturday went. It was tiring but productive. Took us a whole day, a whole day of fun, laughter and reconnection. Thank you for reading this far! Keep safe everyone.

Yes po. Lagi ko naiisip gumawa ng blog but lagi napangungunahan ng pagod and responsibilities. Nagka time talaga ako ngayon kasi half day lang ang pasok dahil family day. And I will try my best to really be active again here in Hove since nasimulan ko na ulit mag sulat. Hoping for the best! My baby said "more kisses for you 😍".
Decluttering together and helping your baby try on clothes sounds both tiring and heartwarming. Your little one may have cried but these are the moments that make wonderful memories.
