Hello hivers, today I am back for another blog to share what I did yesterday. Yesterday was one of those rare days when I decided not to think about school at all.

Normally, my mind is filled with assignments, readings, and deadlines, but this time I just wanted a break. I went to the mall with my closest friend, my boy best friend. We’ve known each other for almost a decade, since we were kids in the same neighborhood.
Through the years, we’ve shared so many memories, but this one felt special because it was a reminder of how far we’ve come and how some friendships never change.

We were walking around the mall when we noticed the indoor playground. At first, I laughed and said “It’s for kids.” But then, the more I looked at it, the more I felt the urge to try it. It had slides, colorful play areas, and even those ball pits that we used to love when we were younger. Without overthinking, we decided to go inside.
The moment I stepped into the playground, I felt like a little kid again. The bright colors and the sound of children laughing made me forget about everything else. I didn’t care about my school works, my deadlines, or anything stressing me out.

All I cared about was enjoying the moment. Running around, climbing, and sliding down made me realize how simple life felt when we were kids. No worries, no pressur, just pure fun.
My best friend and I played like we were back in our childhood. We challenged each other on who could slide down faster, we laughed when we got stuck in tight corners, and we even tried to balance ourselves on the little obstacle course.

Every moment was filled with laughter. It felt funny at first, but then it just felt right. For a short while, I was no longer a busy student I was just me, enjoying time with someone who has been part of my life for so long.

Being with him made the experience even more meaningful. Since we’ve been friends for almost ten years, we share a bond that feels more like family than just friendship. We grew up together, we’ve seen each other at our best and worst, and yet here we were still laughing together like the kids we used to be. I realized how lucky I am to have someone like him in my life, someone who never fails to make me feel comfortable and happy.
After playing for a while, we sat down at one corner of the playground just to catch our breath. I looked around and saw children running, laughing, and having the time of their lives. I smiled because I felt like I was one of them. For once, I wasn’t worrying about grades, responsibilities, or what would happen tomorrow. I was just living in the moment, and it felt so refreshing.
When it was finally time to leave, I felt a little sad but also very thankful. The playground might have been a simple place, but it gave me so much joy. It reminded me that sometimes, I don’t need to be too serious or too focused on my responsibilities. It’s okay to step back, take a break, and let myself be a kid again.
Walking out of the mall, I felt lighter and happier. I knew my school works would still be waiting for me, but I also knew I could handle them better now that I had given myself a chance to breathe. That day was proof that fun is not just for kids it’s for everyone who needs a little escape. And for me, sharing it with my best friend made it even more special.
