Este fin de semana salimos en familia a compartir, a pasar una tarde juntos, actividad que no hacíamos desde hacía mucho tiempo, por temas de trabajo, tiempo, no poder coincidir, problemas u otro impedimento por el cual no logramos llevarlo a cabo.
En esta ocasión mi hermana, mi mamá, mi sobrino y yo nos fuimos al Parque El Cardenalito a pasar una tarde distinta, en un espacio que sirve para el esparcimiento de todas las personas que viven por la zona.
El día lo inicié en la calle realizando una bonita labor al llevar una ropa y compartir desde tempranas horas del domingo con unos niños que están en una casa hogar ubicada al oeste de mi ciudad, Barquisimeto. Luego regresé al departamento de mi tía, lugar donde nos quedamos mi mamá y yo el día anterior para estar con mi hermana y mi sobrino que viven ahí también.
Al llegar allá nos organizamos para realizar una parrillada familiar, un compartir entre nosotros mismos. Compramos carne, chorizo, pollo, yuca y algunas cosas para una ensalada y cada uno aportó su mano en la preparación de la misma, para luego comer todos juntos.
Luego de comer, como es temporada de Mundial fui a disfrutar de uno de los partidos de Qatar 2022 y recostarme por unos minutos antes de que nos dispusiéramos a salir.
Llegada las 5 de la tarde mi mamá y yo ya nos preparábamos para regresar a nuestra casa ya que al siguiente día teníamos que ir a nuestros trabajos, aunque antes quisimos ir a pasear con mi sobrino a un parque cercano de la zona y hacía allá salimos.
Mi sobrino estuvo encantado de salir a pasear ya que podía sacar su bicicleta y rodar más allá del corto espacio del estacionamiento de la residencia, el cual no es mucho que permita maniobrar, correr a más velocidad… más en esta etapa de aprendizaje en la que se encuentra.
Como nos propusimos terminamos saliendo, dejamos que mi sobrino aprovechara la oportunidad de pedalear fuertemente y nosotros detrás de él cuidándolo ante cualquier eventualidad.
Fue ver como agarraba confianza en la bicicleta y ya quería cumplir retos montado en su “corcel de hierro”, preguntándome como que reto podía cumplir y yo le asignaba uno que fuese bajarse de la bicicleta aun rodando o manejar con los ojos cerrados, este último lo terminó cumpliendo escoltado de mi mamá y mi hermana que me regañaban por ponerle esas actividades como asignatura.
Sin duda fue un día distinto para compartir, aproveché de grabar varios videos y tomar fotos, cosas que me encanta, aunque nos tuvimos que ir luego de pasar poco más de una hora ahí antes de que anocheciera.
Nos dispusimos a regresar al apartamento y luego mi mamá y yo a mi casa, con mi sobrino feliz y todos contentos por el día que pasamos en familia, días que no habituamos hacer actividades juntos y que es una invitación para repetirlo nuevamente.
A day out with the family
This weekend we went out as a family to share, to spend an afternoon together, an activity that we had not done for a long time, due to work, time, not being able to coincide, problems or any other impediment that prevented us from carrying it out.
En esta ocasión mi hermana, mi mamá, mi sobrino y yo nos fuimos al parque El Cardenalito a pasar una tarde distinta, en un espacio que sirve para el esparcimiento de todas las personas que viven por la zona.
I started the day on the street doing a nice job by taking some clothes and sharing from early hours of Sunday with some children who are in a children's home located west of my city, Barquisimeto. Then I went back to my aunt's apartment, where my mom and I stayed the day before to be with my sister and my nephew who also live there.
When we got there we organized ourselves to make a family barbecue, a sharing among ourselves. We bought meat, sausage, chicken, yucca and some things for a salad and each one of us contributed our hand in the preparation of it, and then we all ate together.
After lunch, since it is World Cup season I went to enjoy one of the Qatar 2022 games and lay down for a few minutes before we were ready to leave.
At 5:00 pm my mom and I were getting ready to go back home because the next day we had to go to our jobs, but first we wanted to go for a walk with my nephew to a nearby park in the area and that's where we went.
My nephew was delighted to go for a ride as he could take his bike out and roll beyond the short space of the residence's parking lot, which is not much that allows for maneuvering, running at higher speeds...more so at this stage of learning he is in.
As we proposed we ended up going out, we let my nephew take the opportunity to pedal hard and we were behind him taking care of him in case of any eventuality.
It was to see how he gained confidence on the bike and wanted to meet challenges mounted on his "iron steed ", asking me what challenge he could meet and I assigned him one that was to get off the bike while riding or driving with his eyes closed, the latter he ended up accomplishing escorted by my mom and my sister who scolded me for putting those activities as a subject.
It was definitely a different day to share, I took the opportunity to record several videos and take pictures, things that I love, although we had to leave after spending a little more than an hour there before it got dark.
We got ready to go back to the apartment and then my mom and I to my house, with my nephew happy and all happy for the day we spent as a family, days that we are not used to do activities together and that is an invitation to repeat it again.
