Hello HIVE friends, Happy and blessed day! I hope you are feeling great, as the week is coming to an end, thank God. On this occasion, I want to share with you a little bit of my trip to Colonia Tovar with my dad and my friends. The Colonia is specifically in the State of Aragua, it is well known for its culture, the beautiful landscapes, its climate a little warm and cold (depending on the season) and the people are very friendly.
Ya yo había tenido la oportunidad de ir en varias ocasiones, pero tenía más de tres años sin visitarla, y quedé obviamente enamorada. Además, que estaba haciendo un frío rico, yo soy de La Guaira, y para los que saben, hacen un calor de locos jaja. Resulta que, fuimos en full days, incluía desayuno, hidratación y por supuesto la ida y vuelta en el autobús que alquilaron.
I had already had the opportunity to go on several occasions, but I had more than three years without visiting it, and I was obviously in love. Besides, it was really cold, I'm from La Guaira, and for those who know, it's crazy hot haha. It turns out that we went on full days, it included breakfast, hydration and of course the round trip in the bus they rented.
Empezando, me encantó la vibra que tenían las personas que estábamos en el bus, muy panas todas, a pesar de que no conocía sino a mis amigos, la pasé genial… Íbamos cantando y echando cuentos y anécdotas. Incluso uno de los que estaba ahí, había ido a la colonia en bicicleta, me dejó sorprendida de la habilidad física que tiene.
First of all, I loved the vibe of the people on the bus, they were all very friendly, even though I only knew my friends, I had a great time... We were singing and telling stories and anecdotes. Even one of the people who was there had gone to the colony on a bicycle, I was amazed at the physical ability he has.
Pero bueno, comimos rico, la verdad, pedimos una parrilla para cinco personas, con cachapitas DIVINAS, y bollitos, que me encantan. Uno de las mejores cosas de ir a la Colonia, es por su gastronomía. Recorrimos y caminamos bastante, visitamos los caballos, les dimos comida, pasamos por tantas partes que vendías cosas lindísimas, desde llaveros chulos, hasta vasos, tazas, camisas, de TODO. Yo me compré una plantita pequeña de recuerdo, quería un cactus, pero, al final me decidí por una que se llama la millonaria (manifestando jaja)
We ordered a grill for five people, with DIVINE cachapitas, and bollitos, which I love. One of the best things about going to Colonia is its gastronomy. We toured and walked around a lot, visited the horses, gave them food, went through so many places that sold cute things, from cool key chains, to cups, mugs, shirts, EVERYTHING. I bought a small plant as a souvenir, I wanted a cactus, but, in the end I decided to buy one called the millionaire (manifesting haha).
Lo único que me faltó conocer fue la famosa casita del árbol, por el tiempo no logramos ir, espero que para la próxima si pueda conocerlo. Y después de tanto caminar, tomarnos fotos, echar broma y comer divino, cerramos con broche de oro con unas deliciosas fresas con cremas. Y es que yo siempre he dicho: ir a la Colonia Tovar, y no comerse unas fresas con cremas, es como no ir. ¡Amo demasiado las fresas! Y, esa combinación me parece divina.
The only thing I missed was the famous tree house, but because of the weather we didn't make it, I hope that next time I will be able to visit it. And after so much walking, taking pictures, joking and eating divine food, we closed with a flourish with some delicious strawberries and creams. I have always said: going to Colonia Tovar and not eating strawberries and cream is like not going. I love strawberries too much! And, that combination seems divine to me.
Lo mejor de todo es que, estaba con mis amigos y mi papá. A todos nos encantó el paseo, la pasamos genial y decidimos tratar de reunirnos más seguido para conocer, y disfrutar de la compañía. Siempre es bueno y sano, despejar la mente y salir de la rutina monótona. Al final, lo que queda son los recuerdos lindos que construimos en vida. Lo que disfrutamos y todo lo que amamos con el corazón.
Best of all, I was with my friends and my dad. We all loved the ride, had a great time and decided to try to get together more often to meet and enjoy each other's company. It is always good and healthy to clear the mind and get out of the monotonous routine. In the end, what remains are the beautiful memories we built in life. What we enjoy and all that we love with our hearts.
