Who doesn't know how to play Jackstones? I feel like Jackstones are part of every Filipino's life!
How to play Jackstones?
Jackstones is made up of 10 stones or jacks and one ball. You just basically scatter the stones or jacks into the surface (make sure that surface is flay so that the ball can bounce properly). Then, you throw the ball into the air, pick up 1 stone or jack, and let the ball bounce and catch it. Repeat the same process until there is no stones or jacks left on the surface. Repeat the same process again but pick two stones or jacks. Continue increasing the number each time until you pick up ten stones or jacks.
MY EXPERIENCE
I learned to play Jackstones during my elementary days when one of my classmates taught me how to play it and ever since then, I have become a pro at playing Jackstones. I used to play Jackstones every day even if I didn't have someone to play with. However, when the pandemic started, I slowly forgot that jackstones exist and I forgot my skills too.
One random afternoon, after our exams ended. I was enjoying my fries with drinks until one of my friends, Cheyenne, invited me and Jam to play Jackstones with her and of course, I said YES! I haven't played Jackstones for ages and I thought I lost my skills but luckily I didn't. We played for an hour and we only stopped when one of our subject teachers arrived.
This is the photo that my friend took while I was waiting for my turn to play. My default pose is always the pouting(kiss) and peace pose. I don't know any other pose that suits me. LOL.
Every laugh is a memory!
By looking at this photo I will always remember how happy we were while playing Jackstones. Playing Jackstones really tested our patience. If only you guys could hear our laughs and shouts while we were playing. We were so loud.
We were always shouting and laughing every time one of us failed to catch the ball. They are my best friends. I can't imagine myself not having them as my best friends. I think I would be so lonely without them. They are one of my reasons to live. I love them so much!
We had lots of fun. I will surely remember this fun experience with them forever. This moment become one of my core memories that I will always remember for the rest of my life.
I can't imagine my life without them. Having them in my life brought color into my monochrome world. They are so precious to me and they will always have a special place in my heart. They are my ALWAYS in ALL WAYS.

Oh gosh I have a lot of good memories woth jackstones, after playing chinese garter, ito naman next inside the classroom. I remember I'm really good at it thrn kahit papaano, lol. It's cool thay y'all still playing this game. Eith th4 existence of smartphones kasi parang kukunti nalang naglalaro ng mga larong pinoy which is really sad.
