Good day, family. I'm new here. This is my first time posting here. I hope I'm welcome.
A healthy relationship is a connection where people feel respected, supported, and valued.
An unhealthy relationship is full of disregard, neglect, and dismissal, which can result in hurt, loss, and frustration. I was in a relationship years ago, but it was never a healthy one. It almost cost me my mental well-being.

My friend was very insecure about everything. He doubted my sincerity. He assumed rather than ask questions to get clarification about a particular action.
Whenever I committed a mistake, he tended to revenge rather than correct me with love, which always left me broken and distorted until I had to seek help. He shouted rather than spoke.

He retaliated rather than forgave. He compared rather than encouraged. I tried talking to him, but he never listened. He said I was trying to justify my mistake. I wasn't comfortable until I had to break it off for my serenity. In a healthy relationship, you must be able to be yourself without fear of judgment.
There must be mutual care and understanding. And lastly, in a healthy relationship, each party must be open, listen, and understand each other.
In a healthy relationship, boundaries are respected, and in a healthy relationship, growth happens.

Lastly, Are you stuck in an unhealthy relationship that has cost you life including your health? Are you stuck in a relationship and you're not growing? Are you in a relationship where your voice is always silenced, your contribution never matters? It is time to take a bold step and the choice is yours.
