Los niños son una bendición de Dios, son sagrados, sublimes, hermosos, maravillosos, ellos encarnan la ternura:
"Dejad que los niños vengan a mi,y no se lo impidáis; porque de los tales es el reino de los cielos."
(Mateo 19:14)
Las fotos que acompañan esta publicación muestran al encantador Lúan, mi nieto peruano, a quien espero conocer en persona muy pronto. Jeremy Luán Valentino vive con su madre y abuelos maternos en Lima, Perú; su padre y abuelos paternos estamos en Venezuela.

Children are a blessing from God, they are sacred, sublime, beautiful, wonderful, they embody tenderness:
"Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

The photos accompanying this publication show the charming Lúan, my Peruvian grandson, whom I hope to meet in person very soon. Jeremy Luán Valentino lives with his mother and maternal grandparents in Lima, Peru; his father and paternal grandparents are in Venezuela.

Por circunstancias de la vida, el destino nos ha separado; situación nada fácil cuando se trata de la familia. Gracias a Dios existe la tecnología y sus nuevos dispositivos electrónicos para acortar distancias; inventos modernos que nos permiten encuentros virtuales para ver a nuestros seres queridos y saber cómo están; aunque, y con toda honestidad, ninguna videollamada, red social, computadora o celular puede sustituir un encuentro que nos acerque físicamente, donde podamos darnos un apretón de manos, un beso, un abrazo profundo donde podamos sentir el latir de corazones que se respetan, admiran y aman. Pido a Dios que más temprano que tarde podamos cargar a nuestro nieto, jugar con él, llevarlo a conocer algunos lugares de la patria de su padre, tíos y abuelos venezolanos. Amén.

Due to life circumstances, destiny has separated us; not an easy situation when it comes to family. Thank God there is technology and its new electronic devices to shorten distances; modern inventions that allow us virtual meetings to see our loved ones and know how they are; although, and in all honesty, no video call, social network, computer or cell phone can replace a meeting that brings us physically closer, where we can shake hands, a kiss, a deep embrace where we can feel the beating of hearts that respect, admire and love each other. I pray to God that sooner than later we can carry our grandson, play with him, take him to know some places in the homeland of his Venezuelan father, uncles and grandparents. Amen.

Es propicia la ocasión para reconocer el inmenso amor que Jeremy Lúan recibe de su madre, abuelos, tíos y de todas las personas que lo rodean, quienes; sin lugar a dudas, ven en él la ternura hecha niño. Afortunadamente, mi nieto, es un niño que recibe a diario grandes muestras de cariño sincero que le dan seguridad, confianza en sí mismo, lo llenan de empatía y lo hacen un niño sano, alegre, inteligente y feliz. Desde este humilde espacio les envío, desde Venezuela a Perú, un fuerte y calurosa abrazo espiritual, cargado de bendiciones, energía positiva y mucha luz.

This is an appropriate occasion to acknowledge the immense love that Jeremy Lúan receives from his mother, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and from all the people around him, who undoubtedly see in him the tenderness of a child. Fortunately, my grandson is a child who receives daily great signs of sincere affection that give him security, self-confidence, fill him with empathy and make him a healthy, cheerful, intelligent and happy child. From this humble space I send you, from Venezuela to Peru, a strong and warm spiritual embrace, full of blessings, positive energy and lots of light.
