Hello everyone, how are you? Last week during the holidays I had an appointment with a Thai friend. This is the second time I've had the opportunity to meet Thai friends because since I've been here I haven't met any Thai people at all. Because of where I live Most of them will live with their families. Because the week before that was my friend's boyfriend's birthday. So we arranged to have lunch and of course when Thai people meet, the thing that makes us enjoy each other is food.
Before I went to my friend's house, I went to buy some groceries and drinks to join in. When they arrived, they all helped each other to cook food. I must say that this is cooking in a Thai style, that is, strong, spicy, salty, and sour. This is the true Thai taste. Because since I've been here, when I cook some food, I have to make it not too spicy. And today we are fully prepared. I took on the role of assistant because I was not very good at cooking. Most of them make the flavor that they like.
And I got the job of grilling meat. and seafood The weather right now is cool, not too cold. This is the first time I met a friend. And another person met today for the first time. But it wasn't any problem. Everyone was friendly and chatting with each other and having fun. We speak Thai together. And another person can speak the local language. We had a lot of fun. We ate together and talked.
It's been a long time since we've met and there are many stories to tell. I, who can't speak Italian, sometimes sit and listen in silence. Lol, everything went well. Fun and very happy And today my friend invited me to her house again because she had a holiday. And I answered her too. We are going to cook Thai food together. She came to pick me up and I prepared some kimchi for her. This is the Thai way: smile, say hello, and enjoy the food.
And this is another good moment When we get to meet Thai people abroad, speak Thai, eat Thai food, it makes us happy. Even though it's not like in Thailand, it helps us to forget about Thailand a bit. Hope you all like my post. See you in the next post. Have a great day!.
