I was closer to my maternal grandmother cos my parternal grandma was already too old to handle kids. It was fun. And I felt terrible when they all passed on. Grannies are part of our lives for those who where opportuned to experience them.

Whoever was able to meet his grandparents, life gave him a gift. This is a good way to honour them, remembering them and at the same time helping other grandparents in need.
