Hello travelers! It’s me, Marinel (@minelwanders20), sharing one of the most memorable moments of my life—MY WEDDING! 😍 This blog focuses on the exciting preparations before heading to the church. From waking up with butterflies in my stomach to seeing the beautiful chaos of everyone getting ready, it was a mix of emotions. My dress, carefully chosen, hung like a dream, waiting for its moment. Family and friends gathered around, fixing last-minute details while laughter and nerves filled the air. The makeup artist worked magic, and soon, I was ready.
After the makeup session, Team Bride gathered on the hotel rooftop for a fun shoot. I had no idea how to pose or what to do, but thankfully, our photographer guided us gracefully. The entire shoot turned out to be such an enjoyable experience, all thanks to our incredibly supportive and energetic photographer. His enthusiasm made everything feel natural, and the whole team easily vibed with his directions. Laughter filled the air as we struck our poses, creating unforgettable memories. It was the perfect way to kick off the day’s events, and I couldn’t have asked for a better start!
Next came the giving of gifts to the bridesmaids. The moment was filled with so much joy as the shoot remained lighthearted and fun, with everyone in high spirits. The gifts weren’t fancy, but they were meaningful—a small token to remind them of this special day. Seeing their happy faces and heartfelt reactions made the moment even more memorable. It was a simple yet beautiful way to express my gratitude for their love and support on this unforgettable occasion.
Afterward, we were directed to the next pose, which showcased just how confident and powerful Team Bride truly was. I have no regrets choosing these amazing people to stand by my side. Their happiness for me and my soon-to-be husband was so evident in every smile and pose. They gave their all, showing unwavering support and energy throughout the shoot. Seeing them so fully invested in celebrating this moment with me was both heartwarming and unforgettable.
After Team Bride’s shoot, it was Team Groom’s turn for some fun. Team Bride took a short break to rest and prepare for the final outfit change before the procession. Watching the boys during their shoot, I honestly didn’t expect much. I thought they’d be shy or hesitant, considering they’re not usually into the “posing and glam” like the girls. But to my surprise, they went all out! Seeing the photos afterward, I couldn’t help but laugh—they didn’t let the girls outshine them at all!
They had so many different poses, each one looking like a scene from a movie, with every shot telling a story. Our photographer was incredibly creative, making every moment feel unique and special. I’m so happy to have been surrounded by the perfect team of people for this amazing day. One of the things that truly brings me joy is these incredible pictures—they’ll serve as lasting proof of just how happy and unforgettable this day was for everyone involved.
Of course, Team Groom also had their special moment when my soon-to-be husband gave gifts to his groomsmen. Just like the gifts for Team Bride, they weren’t fancy but were meaningful tokens to remember this special day. I was the one who chose the gifts for the groomsmen, but, of course, with my husband’s approval. Seeing them receive the gifts with smiles and laughter made the moment even more heartwarming. It was a simple yet thoughtful gesture that added more joy to our celebration.
I know my husband is incredibly happy to have chosen these amazing people as his groomsmen. They were just as happy and supportive of him, and it showed in every photo—they truly gave their all. Everyone who participated and was invited to this event was carefully chosen. We made sure to surround ourselves with people whose joy for us was genuine. Seeing their pure happiness for my husband and me made this occasion even more special and unforgettable.
After Team Groom’s photo shoot, it was time for Team Bride’s final shoot, now wearing our stunning final outfits, ready for the walk to the church. I also wore my wedding gown, and I couldn’t help but feel emotional seeing everything come together so beautifully. We all looked so pretty and elegant, radiating happiness and excitement. The day itself felt perfect, as if it were celebrating with us. The sun shone brightly, the breeze was gentle, and every moment felt magical and just right.
