Tis' season, is for the family to get together and be happy 💕 also, let's all manifest for good health and prosperity.
December 31, 2023 a day before New Year, we started preparing for our Media Noche. We're setting things up to prepare for this festive celebration. We setting up lights and videoke for the celebration. We even did some decorations, as always.
Our decoration for the year 2024. It's a bit messy but as per the designer or the maker that's the main purpose but turns out great.
Preparing the ingredients for the Aglio e Olio recipe. I just followed some of the instructions from Tiktok University 😂🤣 (Tiktok Application). The peoples go to place for recipes and other stuffs.
Done making the Aglio e Olio, tops with hungarian sausage sliced to perfection 😂. Also, with parmesian cheese 🧀 plus chili flakes 🌶 for a kick of spiciness.
Another roasted pork belly 🍖, I think it's always in the Filipino dining tables. The topnotch food for every occasion.
So, cliche but we Filipinos love preparing, decorating to make it aesthetics.

When I was scrolling on my facebook and my tiktok account I saw lots of people posting photos regarding their New Year Celebrations the one things caught my eye was the prosperity bowl. It was all the same. From the laurel leaves to the fruit at the center to the 12 eggs.
Social media today had a great influence on us.
Black Label our kind of drink for Media Noche and also Arbor Mist Wines. Just a remainder be a responsible drinker. But of course the Black Label just for display 🤣😂. We're just having beer. 🍻
After preparing all the things needed. We started celebrating, go singing, dancing and vibing. Some of our neighbors was in our house joining us to welcome and celebrate the New Year. Some of the kids help us preparing the foods like the roasted pork belly because it was a tasky job to do. Lots of preparation from marinating to cooking.
Then, we all gathered near our setup videoke to go singing while waiting for the time (12 Midnight) to light those fireworks bought by my brother.
We all had our various tradition and superstitious belief in life but there’s nothing to lose if we follow. At least we tried. It plays a significant role in our community by connecting people.
Like, we need to put coins on our pockets then we shake it. Shake it till you make it, hahahaha. Shake it and make sure nothing falls. Also, we turn our vehicles on, our TV's so that it will last long. Also, displaying 12 fruits on the table it represents the 12 months of the year. We Filipinos believe that it brings Prosperity, Happiness, Good health and Money on the coming year.
Past 12 midnight some of our neighbors flock going to our house just to have a photo op for our New Year decorations. So great seeing them happy. And being with us to celebrate that memorable occasion.
Aside from food, singing and dancing. People wrote things for there resolutions. Lots of New Year's resolution but made so much excuses. We cannot define people just let them be who really want to be.Its a way to make positive impact in our lives or in their lives. It was also an act of setting goals and intentions can be a powerful motivator for personal growth.
2023, Thank you for all the lessons. 2024, I am ready.
