Today is a special day for me as I am celebrating my 18th birthday. It is a milestone in my life as I officially enter adulthood. I started this special day by participating in the Navratre puja, which is a traditional festival celebrated in my family.
Even though I am not someone who enjoys receiving gifts or throwing big parties, my parents surprised me with a SAMSUNG M34 as my birthday present.
After the puja, we decided to have a little bit of fun in the afternoon and went to Burger King. We ordered their special meal which included a burger, french fries, and a Coca-Cola. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we also ordered their choco-chip sundae ice cream, which was on offer at just 79 INR for two sundaes. It was a simple yet enjoyable way to spend the afternoon with my family.
When we returned home, my mother and aunt soon prepared a delicious spread of dishes for all of us to enjoy. We sat down together and shared a meal, laughing and talking about old memories. Later in the evening, my cousins and my grandfather joined us for a game of 52 deck cards. It was a fun and competitive game that brought us all closer together.
As the day came to an end, we gathered around the table to cut the black forest cake that my cousins had bought for me from the very renowned Puri Bakers. It was a moment filled with joy and laughter as we celebrated this special day together. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my 18th birthday.
Even though I am not someone who enjoys extravagant celebrations, I am grateful for the simple yet meaningful moments that I shared with my family on my birthday. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and happiness, and I will cherish these memories for years to come.
