Estamos de torneo con Matías desde ayer, y eso significa dos cosas, mucho ajedrez y tiempo con amigos, lo que definitivamente es genial, porque nos ayuda a desconectarnos un poco del día a día disfrutando de momentos especiales con personas especiales.
El dia de ayer inició el Festival Caribeño de Ajedrez 2025, con sede en Hipocampus, un hotel muy lindo de la isla al que no había ido antes, que aparte de precioso, tiene unas vistas increíbles, así que mientras los chicos están en lo suyo, yo aprovecho de compartir con @claudimar, mamita de César, quien está participando en el torneo, @jesymora (Presidenta de la asociación de ajedrez del estado), y @noheliah (Árbitro), lo que es realmente genial, pero hoy no vamos a hablar del torneo como tal, sino de una salidita al finalizar la jornada de ayer.
La cosa es que los chicos de Claudi, están en varias actividades extra académicas, y al finalizar la jornada de ayer nos fuimos rumbo a las clases de karate de Arturo, pero como contábamos con algo de tiempo decidimos llevar a los chicos por unas barquillas en un lugar llamado Billy's, del que por cierto, ya había visto varias reseñas en la blockchain, y realmente tenían razón con respecto a lo bonito y particular del lugar, muy diferente a cualquier cosa que haya en la isla en cuanto a su ambientación.
Como no contábamos con mucho tiempo, la visita fue un poco rápida, pero suficiente para dar una vuelta por el lugar, tomar muchas fotografías, y disfrutar de una experiencia diferente rodeados de extraterrestres 🤣, así que comimos nuestras barquillas, y nos fuimos de inmediato al Dojo para las clases de Arturo, y finalmente cerca de las ocho de la noche, terminamos llegando a casita bastante cansados, pero con un día bien disfrutado, y es que el tiempo con amigos es lo máximo.
Hoy nos preparamos para una jornada mucho más larga, desde las 9:00 am, pero sin dudas que será bastante genial, y por supuesto les estaré contando que tal nos fue.
We are in a tournament with Matias since yesterday, and that means two things, lots of chess and time with friends, which is definitely great, because it helps us to disconnect a little from the day to day enjoying special moments with special people.
Yesterday started the Caribbean Chess Festival 2025, based in Hipocampus, a very nice hotel on the island that I had not been to before, which apart from being beautiful, has incredible views, so while the kids are doing their thing, I take the opportunity to share with @claudimar, Cesar's mom, who is participating in the tournament, @jesymora (President of the state chess association), and @noheliah (Arbiter), which is really great, but today we are not going to talk about the tournament as such, but about a little outing at the end of yesterday.
The thing is that Claudi's kids, are in several extra academic activities, and at the end of yesterday we went to Arturo's karate classes, but as we had some time we decided to take the kids for some nacelles in a place called Billy's, which by the way, I had already seen several reviews on the blockchain, and they were really right about how nice and particular the place is, very different from anything on the island in terms of its ambience.
As we didn't have much time, the visit was a bit quick, but enough to walk around the place, take lots of pictures, and enjoy a different experience surrounded by aliens 🤣, so we ate our nacelles, and went immediately to the Dojo for Arturo's classes, and finally around eight in the evening, we ended up arriving home quite tired, but with a day well enjoyed, and is that time with friends is the ultimate.
Today we prepare for a much longer day, starting at 9:00 am, but no doubt it will be pretty cool, and of course I will be telling you how it went.

Es bien particular el lugar, pero a la vez se ve bonito, y súper limpio y ordenado que es muy importante, y también tiene juegos para los niños que no pueden faltar. Estás full ajedrez por estos días, me alegro Ami, eso es fijo que tendrás muchos encuentros con las mamis de los amiguitos de Mati. Muchas suerte en las competencias, y bueno a seguir comiendo rico 🤗
