Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii, what's up? How often do you visit a park or a green space near you? Have you ever ridden in a small boat? The other day I went to celebrate my friend Ash's birthday at the Parque Del Este, a huge park here in Caracas, it is also know as General Francisco de Miranda Park, there I got onto a small boat and pedaled to navigate through an artifical lake for first time in my life at it was really exhausting!! Let me tell you how all went. 👇👇👇👇👇
Hoooola, ¿qué más? ¿Con qué frecuencia visitan un parque o un espacio verde cercano? ¿Alguna vez te has montado en un barquito? El otro día fui a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi amiga Ash al Parque del Este, un parque enorme aquí en Caracas, también conocido como Parque Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda, allí me monté en un barquito y pedaleé para navegar por un lago artificial por primera vez en mi vida ¡¡cansa demasiado!!. Déjenme les cuento como me fue. 👇👇👇👇👇
Ash is a close friend that I have since 3rd year of high school and we are going to graduate together as Bachata dancers, on her birthday we could not see each other but after a couple of days she had a party in Parque del Este and invited me. There were several friends that we have in common, several of which I had a long time without seeing and I missed seeing.
Ash es una amiga cercana que tengo desde 3er año de bachillerato y nos vamos a graduar juntos como bailarines de Bachata, en su día de cumpleaños no nos pudimos ver pero después de un par de días hizo una fiesta en el Parque del Este y me invitó. Fueron varios amigos que tenemos en común, varios de los cuales tenía un buen tiempo sin ver y ya extrañaba ver.
I didn't know that that day there was a kind of bazaar near the entrance of the park and there were several people doing cosplay, among them: the Death, the Grim Reaper and Chucky with whom we took a picture while we were waiting in line to get on some boats that they rent to navigate a small artificial lake near the middle of the park. It was the first time I rode something like this and I was excited and a bit terrified but well, I still got on with some friends and we started pedaling to get around.
No sabía que ese día había una especie de bazar cerca de la entrada del parque y habían varias pesonas haciendo cosplay, entrre ellas la Muerte, la Parca y Chucky con quienes nos tomamos una foto mientras hacíamos cola para montarnos en unos botes que alquilan un rato para navegar por un laguito artificial cerca del medio del parque. Era la primera vez que me montaba en algo así y estaba emocionado y algo aterrado pero bueno, aún así me monté con unas amigas y empezamos a pedelear para movernos.
What I didn't count on was that it was going to be so hard to move, apart from how small the boat was for me since I'm very tall! I had never done so much legs workout as I did that day, and after 5 minutes I had to take a break because it was tiring as you have no idea, besides that we were 3 and in another boat were 4, and a couple in our group who were alone.
Con lo que no contaba era que iba a estar tan duro moverse, a parte de lo pequeño que me quedó el bote ya que soy bien alto!!! Nunca había hecho tanta pierna como hice ese día, ya luego de 5 minutos tenía que tomar un descanso porque cansaba como no tenía idea, a parte de que nosotros eramos 3 y en otro bote iban 4, y una pareja de nuestro grupo que iban ellos solos.
We also played volleyball for a while and Uno, we ate cookies and chicken wings that were very good, we also sang birthday songs and I ate cake and quesillo, what a delight, the only bad thing was that there were not enough spoons and I ended up eating with my hands, although that did not bother me.
También jugamos volleyball un rato y Uno, comimos galletas y alitas de pollo que estaban muy buenas, además cantamos cumpleaños y comi torta y quesillo, que delicia, lo único es que no habían suficientes cucharitas y me lo terminé comiendo con las manos, aunque eso no me molestó la verdad.
In the end it was a very good day, I took many beautiful pictures and spent an afternoon with my friends, which is what I like the most, tell me in the comments how you celebrate birthdays, as you can see in my posts, it's always something different but it's about having a good time in company.

¡Bonito post sobre tu experiencia en el Parque del Este! Parece que tuviste un día lleno de diversión y aventuras.
