So we were tasked to do a film that featured the lives of people who lived under the Spanish regimen for our history class. It was honestly hard for us to shoot this kind of video, given that most of us were inexperienced in acting, and we also had no equipment for video shooting like cameras and drones. This one was a hard task, but since our instructor required this for our final grade, none of us had a choice but to comply.

Our video shoot took place in a cabin in Medellin which was said to be abandoned. But before that, the girlies took their precious time in a carnival in Medellin Dockside since it was the eve of the fiesta that would take place the next day. If you look at the picture, there were lots of happenings behind us, and a roller coaster operating was our favorite. It made us look like we were visiting another country, but the truth is it was only in our beloved town.
After a little stroll in the dockside, we immediately headed to the cabin where our classmates were on standby waiting for us. I was not familiar with the place, so I just followed the girlies who were also trusting their instincts. Although we didn’t know it, the girls successfully arrived, and we said that a girl’s instinct is always right. (^^)

I did not take any photos during the shoot because we were very busy with the camera and wardrobe. But here is a peek of our shoot—my very likeable classmate wearing her costume. She is so pretty, and during the shoot, she nailed it. Everyone was astonished by her slaying as the main character.

I also acted during the shoot, but I really could not help but laugh because my girl friends were also teasing me. After the shoot, the sun started to set, and the light just came into the cabin, gently caressing our eyes and skin. So, we took photos, and these two are my favorites. Beautiful light, isn’t it?
My friends liked the sunset so much, so we decided to descend from the cabin and find some spots to take photos of the sunset from below view, since the cabin gave us a more elevated one. I took photos as much as I could and tried challenging my creativity.
And here is the result:

The sunset meeting the moon, its friends. I wonder how they react to each other when they meet, aside from eclipse >.<

The horizon still had a little bright yellow light, and minutes later, plenty of orange colors filled the yellow part.

The orange light complemented the yellow light, hence sunset was on its service to the eyes of sunset lovers. For sure, on other shores, people were also watching this pretty sunset.

Still on sunset but turning into dark and hollow as night approaches.

Last photo of the sunset. Look at the branch and the crisp leaves in silhouette to the view. The thin branches crawl to each other, and the sun reflected on the ocean perfectly. Too shiny but satisfying to the eyes.

When the night came, we headed to the park of Medellin to visit Uncle Brew. We really love cafes, so Uncle Brew was a good choice since none of us wanted to go home (^^). We ate fries and milk teas while some of my girl friends had waffles and matcha latte. We were so full and happy with our dine-in experience. Everything in Uncle Brew was worth it.

Since we were full and couldn’t even move because of our stomachs, we tried having a slow walk around the park to burn some things we needed to burn. We were laughing and enjoying each other’s company. These girls are very authentic, that is why our friendship lasts this long and will continue to exist until forever.

We took photos at the park’s standee for our memory and diaries. Truly, this day reminded me how simple moments with genuine people can turn into lasting memories. Sometimes, it doesn’t need to be grand or far away—just laughter, sunsets, and stories with the people who make your heart feel at home. That’s what makes this day unforgettable.

What a nice bonding

STOPSometimes the unplanned parts end up being the most memorable because they remind us how simple moments can turn into something special when we are with the right people. 😄
