Hola!!!! Feliz día a todos en Hive. Hoy quisiera contarles de un lugar muy bonito de Venezuela, La Colonia Tovar, ubicado en La Victoria, estado Aragua.

On September 1st one of my sons, Victor, took me there to celebrate my birthday. We left the Maracay terminal at 7 am on our way to Colonia Tovar, arriving first in La Victoria to transfer to the magic full of landscapes and stories. The trip only lasted 3 hours, at 10 am we had already arrived. From the moment the transport leaves you, you see the steep streets, the colonial houses full of flowers and you feel the pleasant climate, not too cold.
El primero de septiembre uno de mis hijos, Víctor, me llevó a celebrar mi cumpleaños allá. Salimos del terminal de Maracay a las 7 am rumbo a la Colonia Tovar, llegando primero a La Victoria para hacer el trasbordo hacia la magia llena de paisajes e historias. El viaje sólo duró 3 horas, a las 10 am ya habíamos llegado. Desde que te deja el transporte, ves las calles muy empinadas, las casas coloniales llenas de flores y sientes el clima agradable no muy frío.
Arriving at the center of town, we found ourselves face to face with the tourism that takes place there, with the young tourist tours that promote 10 specific places and of which you have to choose 5 for the sum of 50 dollars for a maximum of five people. We chose to go to Chocolaticos, the Hydrangea Garden, the Beer Factory, the Artisan Sausage Factory and finally, the Artisan Wine Factory.
Al llegar al centro del pueblo, nos encontramos de frente con el turismo que allá se desarrolla, con los jóvenes de Paseos turísticos que promueven 10 lugares puntuales y de los cuales hay que escoger 5 por la suma de 50 dólares para un máximo de cinco personas. Escogimos ir a Chocolaticos, al Jardín de las hortensias, a la Fábrica de cerveza, la Fábrica de embutidos artesanales y por último, a la Fábrica de vinos artesanales.
From the moment we got into the jeep, the young man began to tell us the history of Colonia Tovar, in addition to being our guide for a few hours. He told us that Colonia Tovar was founded in 1843 by German immigrant farmers from the Black Forest in Germany, whose lands belonged to Manuel Tovar and were ceded by him to found this town of German settlers. His story was very interesting because he told us that many of the houses have the structure of the houses in Germany at that time, but that only two original houses are preserved, which were built with wood and mud walls (adobe). The others were remodeled, made with blocks and paint simulating wood.
Desde ese instante que subimos al carro tipo jeep, el joven comenzó a contar la historia de la Colonia Tovar, además de ser nuestro guía por unas horas. Nos relató que La Colonia Tovar fue fundada en 1843 por inmigrantes alemanes agricultores, procedentes de la Selva Negra en Alemania, cuyas tierras pertenecían a Manuel Tovar y fueron cedidas por él para fundar este pueblo de colonos alemanes. Su relato fue muy interesante porque nos comentó que muchas de las casas tienen la estructura de las casas en Alemania para esa época, pero que solo se conservan dos casas originales, que se construyeron con madera y las paredes de barro (adobe). Las demás fueron remodeladas, hechas con bloques y pintura simulando la madera.

There we tasted the flavor of handmade chocolate and bought the products they make. Then we went to the brewery where we tasted the parchita flavor beer, very tasty. Then we went to the sausage factory and they showed us everything they make there, we tasted the German sausage and then we went to the wine factory, where they kindly explained to us the process of elaboration of the wines flavored with blackberry, strawberry and parchita. We tasted several flavors of wine and I left there a little dizzy hahahahahahaha.
Y así llegamos a Chocolaticos, donde nos explicaron cómo a partir del procesamiento de las semillas de cacao se obtiene el chocolate. Allí degustamos el sabor del chocolate artesanal y compramos los productos que ellos hacen. Luego nos dirigimos a la Fábrica de cerveza donde degustamos la cerveza sabor parchita, muy rica. Después a la fábrica de embutidos y nos mostraron todo lo que hacen allí , degustamos la salchicha alemana y seguimos a la Fábrica de vino, donde muy amablemente nos explicaron el proceso de elaboración de los vinos saborizados con mora, fresa y parchita. Degustamos varios sabores de vino y salí de alli un poco mareada jajajajajaja.
