Esta mañana veía un reel de Instagram que me mostraba Marcelo, que se lo había pasado @numa26. Hablaba sobre la importancia de darnos cuenta de que debemos valorar los momentos que vivimos día a día. A veces, cuando nos sorprenden, nos emocionamos y nos alegramos. Pero cuando ese acto se vuelve rutina dejamos de valorarlo y eso es lo que no debe pasar. Es por eso que traigo unas imágenes de nuestras últimas vacaciones con la familia y contarles lo que pienso.

This morning I was watching an Instagram reel that Marcelo showed me, which had been passed to him by @numa26. He was talking about the importance of realizing, of valuing the moments we live day by day. Sometimes, when we are surprised, we get excited and we rejoice. But when that act becomes routine we stop valuing it and that is what should not happen. That's why I bring you some pictures of our last vacation with the family and tell you what I think.
Como saben tengo tres soles y la más grande ya no vive en casa (que por cierto la extraño mucho 😍), pero los otros dos sí están con nosotros y todo el día. Es por eso que todo lo que hacemos, o casi todo (porque no lo llevamos a entrenar, por ahora 😁), lo hacemos con ellos. Limpiamos la casa, cocinamos, salimos a comprar, vemos películas, etc. todo en familia. No digo que está mal, porque es parte de su formación y además nos encanta estar con ellos. Pero también debemos pensar en la pareja.

As you know I have three suns and the biggest one doesn't live at home anymore (which by the way I miss her a lot 😍), but the other two are with us and all day long. That's why everything we do, or almost everything (because we don't take him to train, for now 😁), we do it with them. We clean the house, cook, go out shopping, watch movies, etc. all as a family. I'm not saying it's wrong, because it's part of their training and also we love being with them. But we must also think about the couple.
Creo que debemos fabricar los momentos, porque si esperamos que sucedan por arte de magia, se nos pasa la vida. Ese día en la playa y aprovechando que los chicos estaban con una familia amiga, nos escapamos a los médanos solamente para estar un rato tranquilos y juntos. Es importante buscar alternativas para sorprender a nuestras parejas y que los momentos no se vuelvan rutinarios. Otro momento que amo es salir a entrenar y muchas veces, al ser rutinarios, se vuelve aburrido y eso no debe pasar. En este caso lo que hacemos es intentar cambiar las rutas de entrenamientos. Vamos por caminos diferentes y ese mínimo cambio, ya modifica la experiencia. Me encantaría hacer más cosas locas. Me frena el tiempo laboral y de viaje y también lo monetario. Pero de igual manera, debemos buscar alternativas para generar momentos con la pareja. Pienso que la felicidad lo encontramos en los momentos más simples de nuestro día y no se precisa mucho dinero. Por ejemplo, hoy, esta mañana 28 de marzo del 2025, mi hijo Don Juan quería que yo le prepare su desayuno y que lo lleve al colegio y lo pude hacer. Ese fue un momento de extrema felicidad, pero con mi hijo.

I believe that we must make the moments, because if we wait for them to happen by magic, life passes us by. That day at the beach and taking advantage of the fact that the kids were with a family friend, we escaped to the sand dunes just to be quiet and together for a while. It is important to look for alternatives to surprise our partners and that the moments do not become routine. Another moment I love is going out to train and many times, being routine, it becomes boring and that should not happen. In this case what we do is try to change the training routes. We go different routes and that minimal change, it already changes the experience. I would love to do more crazy things. I'm held back by work and travel time and also by money. But in the same way, we must look for alternatives to generate moments with the couple. I think that happiness can be found in the simplest moments of our day and it doesn't require a lot of money. For example, today, this morning, March 28, 2025, my son Don Juan wanted me to prepare his breakfast and take him to school and I was able to do it. That was a moment of extreme happiness, but with my son.
Una relación de más de 20 años, no es poca cosa. Es por eso que cada vez que puedo, genero esos momentos que mantengan a la pareja estable. No sé si se comprendió mi punto de vista y sería bueno que me cuentes que piensas de esto.

Finally, we got home and like every mother I had the sauce ready for lunch. By the way, I made it with araucarias which are really delicious. The app told us that we did almost 11 km of walking. Not bad at all and the kids didn't even complain. We will surely keep doing it.
