John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
The Almighty God has chosen us in a time like this, to bear fruits that abides. The fruits are crucial to every Christian, thus our Christianity is questionable if there are no abiding fruits.
As the essence of nurturing a tree is to bear fruits, so is the life of a Christian, for without fruits grace is in vain and Christ's sacrifice on the cross is wasted. God forbid!
The fruits here are the inherent attributes of a child of God occasioned by the superimposition of the Holy Spirit in the natural man transformed into the image of Christ.
The fruits are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: as seen in Galatians 5:22-23.
We are called to not only bear these fruits, but that it may become an abiding lifestyle in us on daily basis.
Are you bearing these fruits and is it abiding in you? Don't bear the fruits only in church. Let it become your routine.
Only the fruits can physically differentiate us from the children of the world system. The answers to our prayers depend on it. Think about it.

Dear Lord, thank you for the privilege to live like Christ on earth. Please help us to bear abiding fruits, in Jesus name. Amen.
