Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Today, the Almighty God is asking for our first love for Him. That initial zeal and burning desire to please God at all costs.
With that first love, we served without looking for appreciation, position nor respect. The zeal of God's house consumed us. We were letting go precious things to be with Christ.
What about now? Situations of life and family issues seems to overwhelm us.
Thus the Lord says, giving you breakthrough, a new job, husband or wife, new house and cars among others is not difficult, but I need your heart first. He says come back and do the first works.
If your heart is with me I can give you the whole world and nothing shall be withheld from you.. With your heart with me I can trust you with the Commonwealth.

Dear Lord, thank you for giving us the opportunity to revive our first love for you. Please help us to remain in it forever, in Jesus name. Amen.
