Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
The new man is the image of Christ superimposed on the life of a believer to make him live above sin.
The new man is the regenerated human spirit that has conquered the flesh and is now led by the Holy Spirit.
Brethren, the flesh profits nothing. Self is always there to distract and prevent us from living up to Christ's standard of holiness.
It's expedient, therefore, that we consciously put on the new man. We are to be the true righteousness of God and dwell in holiness till the end.
Let us not allow the flesh and its lust to overcome us. This is the true fight and in Christ our victory is assured.

Dear Lord, thank you for making us your righteousness. Please help us to remain in right standing with you till the end, in Jesus name. Amen.
