What are you worth?

A man is composed of about 70% water. Broken into it's mineral components, a dead man's worth on the market could just be a few dollars. What however gives a man his worth is being alive. When alive, man can work and earn a lot of money. He can engage in sports and earn tremendous amount of money. He can invest and build up wealth and possessions. It is the soul that keeps the man alive.
No matter how badly mutilated the body may be, even with some of the organs cut off, is said to be alive so long as his soul remains.

When we die, our bodies will be returned to the Earth and they will start decaying after a few days. It is the soul that will be held accountable for all our actions here on Earth.

The one who came to Jesus for assistance to meditate between him and his brother on the matter of sharing inheritance failed to realise that Jesus' mission and kingship was spiritual rather than physical. If His rule were physical, it would have been in order for Him to become a judge over the people and settle quarrels among them. Jesus debunked the erroneous views about property and possession by asserting that a man's life is not to be judged in the abundance of his possessions.

So, what are you worth? You may be the richest on Earth; you are worth nothing without Jesus. A life in Jesus is worth many lives.
