The wisdom of choosing good and not evil

in HeartChurch4 years ago

If you had to choose today, what God tells you in his word, what would you choose?

Today I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you, who have presented life and death, blessing and curse; So choose life, so that you and your descendants can live.
Deuteronomy 30:19 King James Version (RVR1960)

God puts man to choose between good and evil, life and death, blessing and curse. It remains for man to choose wisely what is most beneficial and beneficial for his life.

No one with a common sense of life would choose the path of death. We all like to be blessed, we all like to be successful and prosperous. However, when we have to make the choice that God places before our eyes, then we choose the blessing, not in God's way, but in the personal way of each one.

Each one wants to serve God in his own way, each one wants to do it in the simplest way that does not imply doing everything that God commands in his word.

The reason why there is so much disease, war, and hatred on earth is because man makes bad decisions about what God recommends be done.

The word in question indicates that God Himself recommended to his people that they choose life and not death, that they choose the blessing and not the curse; However, the people of Israel were so rebellious against God's commandments that their end was captivity in Babylon.

Choosing the blessing of God means walking in the path of God and not in ours. God specifies in his word all the wonderful things that come into man's life as a result of his obedience to God's commandments.

There are so many religions in the world that try to bring man to God without considering Jesus Christ. This is a total mistake, no one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. The life that God sends to choose comes from Jesus Christ, author and finisher of our salvation.

Do you want to choose the blessing? You necessarily have to give place in your heart to Christ, so that you and all your descendants can live. If you choose death, spiritual death will be for all your descendants. The wise man sees evil and walks away. The sage chooses life and life is hidden in Christ.
