Man and the woman needs to know God and the work of salvation that he has carried out through Christ so that by believing in him he can obtain eternal life because God's plan is for all men to be saved and the Bible also tells us that there is only one way to achieve eternal life and it is through Jesus Christ.
John 14: 6
6 Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.

Since the Bible affirms that there is only one way to go to the father, this also means that if it is necessary for man to seek God through Jesus Christ, which concludes that man does need God to be able to live and also obtain eternal life.
All people need God but since not all seek God this is the reason for the current action of society, because of this lack of man to ignore God as father, the world is in chaos and we have a depressing society because really man He needs to recognize God and live to recognize the sacrifice he made on the cross of Calvary and recognize that he did it out of love for humanity.
